  1. Jones is a better player.
  2. You should be shocked if he is ready by week 1 because that is significantly faster than the average timeline for an ACL recovery.
  3. Don't feed the troll. He's the worst and he knows he is the worst. Bills fans don't need to defend Sean McDermott. His record and what he has built in Buffalo stands by itself. Anyone who doesn't see that is clearly deranged or just trying to sow discord.
  4. I don't think we need to be worrying about a Morse replacement, personally...
  5. Potential for lots of comp picks next year...
  6. Beane likes to go into the draft without any bad holes, so he'll sign a vet CB or two for sure, at some point. But I would welcome a 1st round CB.
  7. He's a decent player. Nice.
  8. This is extremely unlikely. We don't even want him back by the opener. We want him to get completely right before he comes back.
  9. No thanks. And that's exactly what Gilmore would say too. He has no interest in returning to Buffalo.
  10. I remember him being the only one with a heart beat at times. He was the de facto #1 receiver when others got injured and he produced in that role. Plus he was an amazing blocker.
  11. I highly doubt the two are connected at all. Like, if he went and traded for a running back, yeah, but it wasn't even on the same side of the ball, and I'm sure the talks with Von Miller had been going on already.
  12. He was pretty good here. He just had no talent around him.
  13. Very nice. He is one of the better backup QB's in the league.
  14. Mariota has been my #1 target for backup QB for awhile now. How it's him we sign.
  15. There are a few still available better than Barkley: Fitzpatrick, Mariota, and Dalton are three I would much rather see signed.
  16. From his perspective, he doesn't know if another team will be able to achieve that for him. Better teams have better targets that eat up the share of targets. He can continue to be the main engine in that offense.
  17. That would be a big downgrade...
  18. They use him in a unique way that maximizes his value and playing time. He could go to another team and not be used the same way.
  19. You don't know that. All we know is that they gave him the lower tender. That could be for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is a gamble that other teams wouldn't be interested and they could save a bit against the cap.
  20. He doesn't. He makes an average of $14.4 million per year.
  21. And this discussion has nothing to do with legality. We are talking about fans choosing not to root for the Browns because of what they believe their new QB has done. They are fully justified for that. Look up the definition of "determine" and you will find that is exactly what it is.
  22. Determining guilt is also something that each individual person does on a daily basis. Nobody is precluded from determining guilt in whatever matters they choose. They just don't have the power to do anything about it.
  23. Anyone can determine guilt. Only a court can punish someone for guilt, so a court is held to a higher standard.
  24. It actually does not apply to society at all. It ONLY applies to courts. It has only ever applied to courts. You can choose to apply that same standard to yourself if you want, but society is not required to take that stance. Browns fans are fully entitled and justified to believe the 20+ women who are accusing him. And it obviously makes everyone wonder if Watson would be treated the same way by the courts if he wasn't a rich and famous sports figure. Joe down the street maybe gets indicted. And if you are going to claim that the rich and famous and elites of this world are not treated differently by the courts, we are just going to have to agree to disagree.
