  1. No question the TEs need to be a focal point in the offense but know that Kincaid is on pace for 62 receptions for the season, which would be the 5th highest reception total by a rookie TE in NFL history. This even with DK having on 2 receptions last game. How much more can you ask for what he’s contributed so far?
  2. Look at the last 3 games JA played and then assess. He’s now a TO machine. D Coordinators have seen enough and now daring him to throw short -intermediate throws. He can’t…can’t consistently throw em and he can’t lay off going for the big play.
  3. Bills will never advance with JA unless he miraculously changes his approach to the position. There I said it: - Bills lost a game they should have comfortably, easily won by 8-10 pts. Why: Simply that JA reverted back to his go-to and play hero ball, take unnecessary, low completion % chances. - JA clearly needs to spend more time studying film. Newsflash JA, defenses have caught up to you because they’ve seen enough film! -Big preseason talk of using more TE sets, taking the underneath but that was abandoned alarmingly quick when it mattered most. -Not even going to assess blame to Dorsey because I firmly believe JA will nod his head on the play selection and then simply do what is in his blood. -Running game was adequate if not an asset. Murray needs more touches as a power back. Bills didn’t need a “heroic” game today. Rodgers gone after 4 plays and Zach Wilson manages a better game than our $40+ mil/yr QB.
  4. I’ve chimed into 4-5 different Bills podcast and have come away believing Locked on Bills with Marino is the best. Insightful, does his research, consistent and focuses on the topic on hand without going off topic like Shout or One Bills Drive.
  5. I’ll go on record predicting that this will end up being the 2nd best draft class under Beane. My belief is that not only will Kincaid end up a Pro Bowler but will end up the best TE, statistically, in Bills history. I may double down and suggest this guy could end an All Pro in 3 years. Also, mark it down: Torrence is the best OG in the AFCE in 2 years and also a Pro Bowler by then. Williams, paired with Milano, will eventually help form the best OLB tandem in the conference. Talk me off the ledge. 😁 I don’t like how Shorter seems to body catch the ball more than his hands. I can see Austin, actually lasting at least 4 years with a squad.
  6. After that disastrous Lance pick and draft capital given up, how can Lynch / Peters possibly be ranked higher than Beane?
  7. A career journeyman, with a virtual identical TD - Int ratio. Heard on Mad Dog radio he could be released by Arizona. Personally, I would have more faith in McCoy than K. Allen and M Barkley just doesn’t have an NFL arm (if he ever did). Thoughts?
  8. 1) I thought Boogie was unblock-able for most of his straight up pass rush options. Looks like a completely different player this season. In fact, the entire front 4 looked to manhandle the Colts 1st half. 2) Huge shoutout to L Murray. Downhill runner with above average receiving skills. Big back who just seems to love the contact. Nonetheless, a little wiggle room in the open field. An absolute must have for the 53. 3) K Allen looked generally lost as starting QB. I didn’t see anything that gave me confidence if he had to spell JA for any time. That pick 6 was mind numbing. Bad throw but should’ve never been thrown. Night n day with MB in as QB. Not even close, in my mind. Play him as #2 next week. 4) Eli Anku, DL, unsung gem of the D in this game. Hard to make this 53 roster but he showed some chops. 5) D Williams looks like a heat seeking missile. Great angles, solid tackler and didn’t seems to be out of position. Dude had a penetrating tfl at goal line. Should get some Day 1 reps. 6) Time for Doyle and Boettger to consider other lines of work. Simply abused…often. Flip side, hand the 1st team RG to O’Torrence. Guy is going to be a pro bowler within 2 years. Mark it down. 😉 7) Shavers won’t make the 53 but suggested PS. His height alone could be a weapon to utilize in the RZ. K Johnson and Patmon (sp) also a solid contributor. J Ingram, LB, also had a great 4th down stop.
  9. Just watched Shakir make 2 spectacular catches in the 2nd qtr…only to drop a much easier catch that would have continued moving the chain. So, making catches of high degrees of difficulty can’t be ignored as a positive. Let’s see how it plays out but if I’m McD I’d have this guy in for longer preseason stretches and preferably with Barkley as QB.
  10. No question McD has built stability in a franchise that was considered laughable prior to his arrival. Nice guy. Cares about his players, team and community. Produced solid winning record thus far. All that withstanding, I believe this is a make or break year for McD. The scapegoats have been removed. The team fired the ST Coach after that horrendous kickoff decision vs the Chiefs in the divisional playoff game. Frazier "excused" himself after an equally inept defensive gameplan vs the Bengals. This is the year the McD must produce and get the Bills over the hump. Beane....this guy has literally served up the best roster (on paper) the Bills conceivably have ever had! Offensive playmakers. OL help to protect JA and move the pocket. Defensive stalwarts. Resigned key FA's. If McD does not get it done -barring a major injury to JA- then I believe his time has passed. Elite HC's would be salivating at the mouth to try their hand at this talented infused roster.
  11. what does that mean? Is there history about R Brown that I am unaware of? Please enlighten.
  12. How could Ruben Brown not be in consideration? 4 time All Pro, 9 time Pro Bowl selection (when that still meant something). This is Bruce Smith level production/ consistency. It’s egregious if he isn’t put on the WOF, with HOF also worth consideration.
  13. The USC PAC 12 Championship game is all you need to know about Kincaid’s route running ability, hands and dare I say toughness. He was uncoverable and everyone in the stadium knew he was getting the ball. I also feel he has high intelligence based on his interview responses. Don’t want to compare to Kelsey but, dang, it’s there. Bills have never had a TE prospect like this.
  14. Just watched the ‘23 Senior Bowl again, this time focusing exclusively on right OG, Torrence. Gents….the guy completely stone-walled ever DT he faced. It wasn’t even close. Not only did Torrence completely stand-up every DT but he ACTIVELY sought out other DL to shift over to once he had his primary target contained. His QB didn’t even get a sniff from a DL or pass rusher that was on Torrence’s side. In fact, there seemed to be a noticeable drop off when Torrence rotated out. He also had nimble feet in the pocket and even helped pull when the running game called upon. I watched every snap and came away thoroughly impressed with his dominance…vs draft likely talent. He may not start right away but WOW! Matter of time.
  15. It’s only 1 draft publication but Lindy’s had Kincaid and Torrence as the top rated players at their positions. Dorian as the 12th rated OLB (4th-5th rd grade). Broeker was also rated 12th for the OG position (6th rd grade). Curiously there was a “Could Disappoint” warning attached to Broeker. Shorter and Austin were “Worth Watching”, which typically puts them in 7th rd-BFA territory. Of note, Alabama DT FA, Dale, had a 6th rd grade so maybe a good p/u by the Bills.
