I completely disagree. He was a good coordinator under Bill Parcells in NYG. Otherwise without Brady he had already lost a job in Cleveland, and was on his way out of NE when Bledsoe was almost killed by Mo Lewis. Brady saved his career.

The best coach of all time who is sub .500 without Brady.

Is it time for Gronk to come home?

Outside of the elbow drop you have a guy that publicly admitted to faking his offseason workouts. Not something that screams Growth Mindset. -
I dont believe so. Just interesting they've brought in both Lawson and Roberts.

Culley going after those former Bills.

I agree. I think the Bills had a few issues in the run game last year. First and foremost the backs on the team lack explosion getting to the hole, thats why you saw Yeldon have some success where Singletary and Moss struggled. Additionally, the other skill positions like tight end and wide out (specifically Gabe Davis) struggled with picking up their blocking assignments.

Bills a rumored suitor for Kareem Hunt trade
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you think there aren't guys on this team that are low key bad people you'd be wrong. The difference with Kareem is it's on video. Hopefully the guy has cleaned his life up and can move on. If a 5th gets it done for two years of an elite talent I say be my guest. -

This one is interesting. 5x Pro-Bowler, who was absolutely terrible and hurt last year. That said, he is only 28 and played really good football next to Daryl Williams during his time in Carolina. Still not sure he is a better option than Feliciano at this point in his career. Wonder if you can get him cheap on a one year prove it deal? -

Cam About To Re-Sign With New England
thenorthremembers replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stop with the people just love hating on Cam. I thought he was one of the best players in the NFL 5 or 6 years ago. The guy is an above average starter in the league who just came off a season where he threw 8 touchdowns in 15 games. This isnt hate, its reality. If he comes out and plays like an MVP this year, Ill eat crow, thats fine. But where it stands he isnt a very good thrower of the football. -

Jordan Poyer on Pat McAfee Show

These conversations around culture are always funny to me because they always say they can tell the difference in a good culture vs a bad one, but no one ever gets prescriptive about it. You'd think you'd be able to bottle that stuff up and sell it for millions. Also funny how having a good culture usually goes hand in hand with having an elite player at the Quarterback position. -
Thoughts on a Marquise Goodwin reunion?
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probably a pass at this point. If he had the injury history and was productive it'd be one thing, but he hasnt been a productive player sans one year. Given the cap restrictions and his scale for the veteran minimum, I'd probably pass even at that rate. -

Completely forgot about that. May be a long while. -
I dont think there was much wiggle room in his contract. A healthy John Brown on a 9.5 million dollar contract is grossly underpaid. Even missing the time he did, the value he brings to a team is worth at least that much when you consider what players at that position get paid. If he was a bit younger and a bit more available he probably sticks, but those are rose colored glasses. When you're looking at the reality of the situation, where you have an almost 32 year old wideout who cant stay on the field, its probably better for the team and the player to just cut ties and let him go to free agency.

Wouldnt touch Schwartz due to age, and his relation to Geoff. Fisher will land somewhere for good money, but is probably on the back end of his career too -
What about Trent Murphy's future?
