Based on what I could see from the suplex and him being able to return after 1 play, it looks like a grade 1 AC Joint sprain. He can play through it. Ice baths & maybe a pre-game pain injection & he should be good to go.

Bates looked really good, I've been calling for trying him at Guard all year. He was better today than Ike or Ford have ever played for us. This should be a no-brainer for McD. Feliciano backs up C & both OG spots, Ford is emergency injury replacement only.

Devin's first catch where he dragged Dugger for an extra 7 yards was the best play he's made in his 3 seasons, it truly set the tone for the rest of the game. Singletary officially needs to be accounted for by opposing D's going forward.

All-22 Grades for Bills/Panthers (The Athletic)
947 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nobody has argued that Edmunds isn't good vs the pass, we all know he can play that role well, as seen in the video. It's run support where he struggles, and other teams specifically try to exploit him there. Aside from the struggles with run diagnosis and getting off blocks, he just isn't a good tackler. 90% of his tackles, he lets the ball carrier initiate the contact with him, then just pulls the carrier down on top of himself. He even does this on the nice play he made in the video on DJ Moore's crossing route. A player of Edmunds' size & athleticism should be absolutely blasting a much smaller receiver & driving through him to the ground. He rarely hits anyone hard, and prefers to either drag or pull them down, usually giving them an additional 2 yards in the process. This just isn't how LBs are supposed to tackle. -
Will McD/Frazier be smart enough to Not play nickel vs a team that runs 75% of the time?

Three things (good and/or bad) you take from this game

1-Edmunds has no clue how to diagnose what's happening during a play. 2- I lost count of how many times we had Newton in the backfield, only to let him slip out of the tackle. 3- Ford was pretty decent in run blocking -
Breece Hall looks slower than Singletary in that highlight. If he's routinely getting caught from behind vs average college teams, he's too slow for the NFL. He's a nice runner & reads blocks well, but he's going to run a 4.7. He's a day 3 pick.

There are only 2 ways to get an impact RB in the draft. 1) Draft one in Rounds 1-2 (preferably 2) 2) Draft one later & get extremely lucky We already have a pair of 3rd Round RBs, and it's clear they're not impact players. Lucking out with a Kamara or Kareem Hunt in the 3rd is rare. Sure there's success stories, but the vast majority of 3rd round & later RBs are JAGs. Who's to say the third time would be a charm if we dive back the to 3rd round well? Can we afford to waste another year of Josh's prime with a weak run game?

Poor James Robinson...

Really? Diggs has been an excellent deep threat his entire career. He's had 2 incidents with tracking recently, but that's not an ongoing problem, he gets open deep. The issue is how do we give Josh 4 seconds to unleash a deep bomb with our OL?

Whoah! That's just crazy talk. -
Josh in a boot after Tampa game (now says he's "good to go", no effects)

They also need a "Run Game Coordinator". If Daboll sticks around, it's obvious he's not a run game expert, we need help. And a new O-Line Coordinator while we're at it. I can't see Daboll getting a head coaching gig after this season. How could he come up with a satisfying answer to the first interview question: "Why did you only run 5% of the time in so many games?" So if he's not here next year, it'll be due to firing. -
Even the Edmund apologists on this board have to admit it after this game. There's no way anyone could look at the impact Devin White is making in the same game, and say that Tremaine is anything but a major liability. But he did tip a pass today. And did I mention that he's still only 19 years old...

Nice! I have the same jersey framed in my basement, I wish somebody would've given it to me for free...

Buying these seems risky as hell. You spend $70 hoping for a Josh Allen autographed ball, but you could get Torrell Troup.

Living in the Chicago area, seeing the Bears & local news, I already knew how utterly horrendous of a hire Jauron would be. I vividly remember hearing the bills were going to interview him, and my heart sank into my stomach. To ease the pain, I told myself that there's no way they'd actually hire him, but I somehow knew deep inside that it was going to happen. I just knew, it was exactly the type of thing Ralph would do. The hiring process was like watching a train wreck, knowing there'd be no survivors.

What a complete imbecile Bell is. He was on top of the world in Pittsburgh, probably the best RB in the league. Decides to sit out a complete season in his prime & passes up the $8.6M he would've made that year, because he wants to be the highest paid. Ends up on the Jets a year later & stinks it up royally. Gets released a year later & signs with KC to try and chase a Super bowl as a backup instead of going somewhere with the chance to start. KC makes the super bowl, but Bell doesn't even see the field. Now likely out of the league just 3 seasons after the holdout.

Unexpected Dud for me is Dawkins. He hasn't been terrible, but is playing at a much lower level than most of us were expecting. I know there are post-Covid issues, and he seems to be getting some mojo back now, but I doubt anyone predicted he'd be average to slightly below at the halfway point of the season. Ford can't be called a Dud, because he's been exactly as terrible as everyone here expected.

Spencer Brown has been our best O-Lineman. Sure, he's had some lapses, but far fewer than the other OL. I have no doubt he's our future at RT, or LT if Dawkins can't get back to his old form. Getting Brown back, and kicking Williams back to OG will help, but that isn't enough. If nothing else, Brown's attitude should fire the other guys up. I have no problem kicking Dawkins to Guard, if it gets the OL back on track. Brown looked good at LT in the couple snaps he's gotten. The only possible band-aid currently on the roster is Bates, he's hungry and needs to get a shot somewhere. I'd like to see either of the following OL combos: Dawkins-Bates-Morse-Williams-Brown Brown-Dawkins-Morse-Williams-Bates
-
WTF is it gonna take for Bates to get a shot? If he is truly a backup at all 5 OL spots, at least try him over Ford for a series, it can't possibly be worse. I am dumbfounded that we made no halftime adjustments to the OL. Ford down-blocking to triple team a rusher & letting a DT fly directly past him to Josh was the last straw for me. I know we don't know the blocking assigments, but it definitely wasn't supposed to be a triple team. That guy is lost.

Correct, the same matter cannot occupy the same space at the same time.

I'll be flying from Chicago for the Week 17 Atlanta game, I haven't been to the Ralph in about 15 years & I'll have my 2 teen sons with me for their first experience. I'm taking notes of all these responses. Do people sell food in the tailgate lots? I'll only be in BUF 2 days & don't really want to buy a mini grill just to leave there.
