  1. He played well in 2018 his first year here
  2. Isn’t he a man to man corner? Wasn’t one of the reasons they let him walk back in 2017?
  3. They haven’t invested heavily at corner since drafting Tre in 2017. I think they like Dane and feel they can draft one later to develop. Although I do agree a very corner is likely in the cards maybe not a huge signing but something mid-level.
  4. Bring him back on the cheap, start the old Patriots cycle of player plays well gets paid goes elsewhere underperforms and then comes back and plays well again.
  5. Eagles have 3 first round picks and Hurts to toss into a deal they should be in on Watson.
  6. The Bills also don't have massive gaps that can't be plugged in via the draft either. I would like to see a vet corner and edge rusher added to the defense and maybe go after Landry or another slot receiver or a guard for depth/competition. Either way there is plenty of options for the Bills to plug some gaps.
  7. I doubt it but sometimes Oline players take longer to develop and find their way later in their career. I have given up on Ford, he is depth for one more season not much else. But it is possible a change of scheme and coaches can make a guy more productive.
  8. Sad, hopefully McBeane goes another direction
  9. I do enjoy reading other teams Reddit comments about players.
  10. Would have loved to have Phillips back but they brought in Jones and Settle both solid depth options. Not the worst price for Phillips but not cheap either. The front office made a value call and in the end they decided to move off Phillips.
  11. Reminds me of the Ty signing a few years ago. A nice move.
  12. Nice signing, coming off a pretty solid season and always pretty good at guard throughout his career.
  13. Jets made a solid move grabbing Tomlinson, but do they have the coaching to put the talent together? I expect the Jets to be better but they are still about a year away in their rebuild.
  14. For an O-line player who has looked good in the limited snaps he played and can play all 5 positions yes the market is that ridiculous.
  15. All fair points about Mac. I wouldn't be shocked to see the Bills draft a speed WR even if they sign Landry or another vet in the slot. But despite the lack of a perceived "field stretcher" the Bills offense never had trouble getting the ball downfield esp when protection was solid.
  16. Watching the Bills in 2020 and 2021 I don't see them having a problem getting the ball downfield. Davis, Mac and Diggs (and Knox to a lesser extent) don't have problems getting deep balls from Josh. I think the O-line is the biggest issue on the offense.
  17. I think Mac being back is that speed element. I also think Davis and Diggs are able to get down field and break things down. With Mac back I personally think the need for "speed" is overrated.
  18. Landry would replace Beasley as the team's "zone breaker" and add some physicality to the WR corps. He also is 3 years younger than Beasley and doesn't have a significant injury history. Diggs and Davis on the outside, Landry in the slot and Mac as the gadget WR4 is a really good WR corps.
  19. They still have options. Jimmy G would be a great fit for them and be in their price range draft picks wise. I also think they are rumored to be in on Jordan Love which is another solid option for them.
  20. I would love him as a Beasley replacement. Give him a one year deal to up his value and see him pop off. I think he can replace Beasley as the teams "zone breaker". Diggs and Davis on the outside, Landry in the slot and Mac as a the 4th WR is a great WR corps.
  21. I loved D.Williams the two years he was here. He was a dam fine RT in 2020 and kicked into guard and stabilized the RG position in 2021 (arguably was the best O-line player in 2021.) But I think this is a scheme fit situation along with a cap situation. Hoping the Bills are going hunting for guards in the off-season.
  22. I fully agree that an upgrade at punter while also having someone that can hold at an effective level is the solution here. But Haack is not a bad fall back option if the draft doesn't pan out and the free agent punters aren't out performing Haack. Haack is a below average punter but at least he bring something else highly positive to the table outside of punting.
  23. Love it, makes it so that the Bills don't have to "force" a move at WR with Beasley out.
  24. All fair points, but I think Sanders from Miami suffered regression in 2021 when he had a different holder. Catching a long snap and getting it down quickly is not easy.
  25. Apparently hard enough to the point that it impacts a kickers accuracy. Bojo holding for Mason Crosby must have had some sort of negative impact on Crosby in Green Bay as Crosby went from having a 100% kick accuracy in 2020 (and 91% in 2019) to 73.5% in 2021. I can't say the holding was cause for all of that regression but it had to have had a negative impact of some sort. Meanwhile Bass took a major leap up with Haack holding.
