Postgame: Dolphins 21 at Bills 31
Magox replied to Do The Reich Thing's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's absolutely asinine to believe that Allen had a bad or mediocre game. The first half he was less than stellar but not awful and the second half aside from that deep bomb attempt he was flawless. Like what has been said about him more than a few times, he is a gamer. Pressure was on and he delivered. -
Bills (5-1) vs Fish (0-6) Game Balls!
Magox replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tre was the player of the game. Two huge playmaking impactful plays. Allen had a middling first half and a great second half. Smoke was smoking them throughout the game. Micah Hyde for dealing the game. -
Just win baby!

Yeah, but they won the offseason!

Cordy Glenn at Odds With Bengals Over Concussion
Magox replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know the Sammy defenders who have no legs to stand on will hate reading this but Sammy is now slated to miss his 3rd game in a row. The last 2 games....... They lost. This is who he is, he has a spectacular game a couple ok games, a couple where he is inconsequential and then he is injured for a few. Rinse and repeat. The life of Sammy Watkins. Yet another good move by Beane. -

This guys trades and signings for the most part age very well. -
The negativity around him by some here is overboard. AJ Green is still young enough to be impactful for the next few years and when healthy he has been very productive. He is not someone who has been chronically injured throughout his career aside from these past 15 months or so. For the right price he should definitely considered. If I had to take a guess what he would be worth from the Bill's perspective I'd say maybe a 2020 3rd and 2021 4th.

Bills rank 6th in one of the most important categories...

Buffalo's offense is not that far away from being a pretty good one. What people don't realize is that this team moves the ball better than 67% of the teams in this league, they convert at a high rate once they get to the end zone, they have a balanced attack which is crucial, they can score when it matters and they eat the clock. Buffalo's problem right now is that Josh has made a few too many turnovers and their offensive awareness once they get in between the opponents 30-40 yard line has been bad. There must be close to 10 times so far this year where we got in between the opponent's 30-40 yard line where they came away with no points. It is not as if we are talking about a team that cant move the ball or a team that is one dimensional and is racking up garbage yards or a team that cant punch it in from the red zone. Buffalo's offensive issues just need slight tweaking. This offense is very close to becoming a decent one. -
Ravens and Broncos games are at home. Your take that Allen will lose more games than win I dont agree with that all. He has proven that when it comes down to it and the rubber hits the road, he wins. Unlike Tyrod. And unlike Tyrod he is able to move the ball and help keep the defense fresh. With that said, If things sort of Peter out the Bills could go as low as 9-7 but I dont forsee that happening. If the offense can tighten up some of its inefficiencies and the defense continues to play at an elite level then they could go 13-3. I believe they will finish at 11-5.

No, he doesn't. -
Poyer is good, no doubt. Hyde is better.

Any All-Pro Bills this year?
Magox replied to Drunken Pygmy Goat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even though White has been playing well but not the best out of the Bills he is getting the recognition. So he will have the best shot. Edmund's is highly touted, has improved markedly and has cred among his peers. He has the second best chance. Hyde has been outatanding and has played at a higher level than White and Edmund's and he has begun to get his just due. He is the most deserved of the three but I think he has the third best chance of being selected. Even though White is getting the accolades Wallace has been arguably even better. But he doesnt have the cred, not yet. -
I would add to that: 1) His decision making outside of the pocket when the play breaks down. You essentially alluded to that on your third point. You take away these interceptions that he's thrown when he's made some bad decisions and we are talking about a much higher QB rating and very possibly a 5-0 record with a couple other games not being such nail biters. 2) You said patience in the pocket. I sort of see it that way, I view it slightly more as that the game still needs to slow down for him a little more. There have been times where he is looking straight at a open receiver and he decides to not hit the guy with a pass. I think that is a mental processing aspect and I believe he will improve as he gets more games under his belt. 3) Yes, his pre snap reads are getting better but still need work.

Micah Hyde is THE heart and soul of this defense.

I like Poyer but Levi not only has been the better player but his value in the open market is more than twice Poyer's value. -
Another new Right Tackle even though I think Nseke is decent. Another Wide Receiver, even though if Duke Williams and Foster both perform what they are capable of playing we'd actually be pretty set at WR. Someone who can get after the QB at any of the D Line spots Gore's and Lorenzo Alexander's eventual replacement. Defensively we really are in great shape, this would just be icing on the cake. Talent wise, we aren't that far off, just need for the offense to gel and continue to improve.

JeffsMagic is not a troll and he was not engaging in trolling behavior. He simply has had very bad predictions, which is not trolling.

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Titans Meet the New Bills
Magox replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Typically when the defenders get hurdled they had already put their hats down anticipating a collision. In this case the defender kept his head up and saw that Knox was going to try to make a highlight film out of him and never put his hat down and stayed more upright leading to that tackle. -
There Always Seems to Be One Bill Everybody Hates on Annually
Magox replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There have been rumblings about Starr, surprised he hasn't faced the ire of the fans. Yeldon shouldn't be getting the hate, he's been a productive receiver, an ok runner and good pass blocker. For a third string back he's been good. Ford has been underperforming as a tackle so imagine he's going to get some flack. Borquez, but he's been decent. But now that Zay is gone who had been occupying that hate, they are all game. -
Allen is only going to continue to get better. He's a gamer and I think going to lead this franchise to a lot of playoff victories over the next decade.
