But I keep hearing that we play Jauron Ball. And that we are too conservative. And that Beane created the salary cap mess we had. And That We shouldn't have traded Sammy Watkins! And That Josh Allen is not a good passing QB. And that we haven't played good teams. And that "culture" is just a buzz word that doesn't exist. Amirite?

How did we lose to the Eagles?
Magox replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They had a good offensive gameplan against us. They did a good job with their run scheme and isolating their athletic tight ends with the play action. Also our offense sputtered: It happens -
Week 13 Around the League Thread
Magox replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Steelers are not going to be easy. Their QB is not bad. -
It must kill you guys that you were proven wrong and that Beane did IN FACT inherit a cap mess. I don't understand how you guys cannot get it through your thick skulls that they didn't want to keep those players. They didn't want to keep Sammy, they didn't want to keep the other players. They wanted to build the team with the sort of players that they wanted to start from scratch with. Yet you two, despite the Bills on pace to make their 2nd playoff appearance in 3 years and CLEARLY fielding the best young group of talent that we've had in over two decades, still continue to B word at the success that Beane and McD have achieved. You guys are a riot

How good are Tannenhill and the Titans ?
Magox replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are better than Mariota and the Titans. Tanneyhill is ok. Good defense and a competent offense. Which means they can win ball games. -
On Defense Gap integrity Tackle well Don't over commit to the run to not leave you vulnerable against the pass and play action. If they get some drives where they run on you, then so be it, but don't sell out and give up the long passes. On Offense Keep doing what you have been doing with the no huddle Establish the run We can with this game.

Freddie Kitchens wore a "Pittsburgh Started It" t-shirt

This just makes me appreciate that we have McDermott that much more. -
Do the "look at me" actions of Shaq and Oliver bother you?
Magox replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Emotions run high and some wear them on their sleeves. I'm fine with the extent of their celebrations. -
Still Not Much Love for The Bills - But do we Care ? HN !!
Magox replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll say this, watching ESPN and their shows, they talked about Dallas's failures 90% of the time and 10% of the time how the Bills performed. -
Last year I went to see the Dolphins Bills game, you know the one that Clay should have caught for the victory at the end of the game. I knew without a shred of doubt within every fiber of my being that after that game, we had our franchise QB. He's only going to get better. He's got everything that you want from a QB.

So please tell me again, how McD is Dick Jauron
Magox replied to Reader's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh BS They are not bend break defense. They are one of the stingiest defenses in the league in yardage and points. And your misperception of him being conservative is exactly that, a misperception. They played to the talent level of their team, they were less talented therefore the play calling etc was for the team they had, as their talent level rose the play calling and aggressiveness followed. like I said, lazy analysis for anyone to believe that MCD is anything like Jauron. Not to mention that the culture that he has brought to the team is vastly different. Because it was the right move. Bills defense had been shutting them down and our offense had been struggling. The idea was to punt and pin them down, stop them, get the ball back and score. Guess what? That’s what ended up happening -

It was a lazy analysis made by a few that was parroted by a few more. He's nothing like Jauron.- 33 replies

A defining run for him. A run that solidified his support from this teammates as the leader of the team. A run that shows the true essence of what he is about, which is he an incredible competitor. When I think of Brady, I think of his competitiveness. I've been saying this for quite some time, Allen is a straight up competitor, more so than most. It doesn't matter if its in the off season in hitting golfballs or popping champagne corks, he just wins. He is the perfect player for this franchise and I wouldn't trade him for anyone. He's just going to get better and better.

Josh Allen: How season changes after NE game
Magox replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Totally agree with this. A good starting WR to go along with Brown and Beasley and a high end pass rusher. Those are the definitely the biggest needs. They will also need to find a replacement for Lorax and another running back to compliment Motor. -
Bills have tie breakers over Colts and Raiders
Magox replied to dma0034's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good to know! Colts are one of the main teams that the Bills would be competing with for a wild card birth. -
Brandt: "People are crazy to tell Josh Allen not to run"
Magox replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am totally in this camp! He should run the ball, he's good at it. He just needs to protect it better because the defenses know he can be prone to fumbling it. -
Can the Detractors Now Admit Allen's Growth?
Magox replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Josh Allen has had a QB rating of 100+ in 4 out of his last 6 games. 10 TD's with 1 int With another 4 Rushing Touchdowns to add to that. Not sure how anyone in their right mind can possibly say that he is not progressing and progressing very nicely at that. Not to mention that the Bills have a 4-2 record during that time period. -
