  1. Past hour
  2. If one of Josh's talents is throwing long passes, then this team is in trouble because from what I've seen that's on of the things he does worst at. 20 yard passes, maybe 25 to 30 on occasion he's good. But long passes he's almost always way long or way short. When you actually calculate the difference between Worthy's time to run 40 yards down field and say Curtis Samuel it's less than 1 yard In other words when Worthy is down field 40 yards Samuel would be just beyond 39 yards. So do you actually believe that little difference is going to keep a defense honest or not?? If Samuel can't keep the defense honest, doubt someone as fast as Worthy would either. Add to that Allen is all over the map on deep throws.
  3. honestly didn't read whole thing but I see 0% chance McBeane goes anywhere
  4. I don't get it yall are like the never Trumper's ! No matter how good it could be your going to B**CH about it with out even giving it a chance to see how it might be . It's to bad we can't excommunicate some fans . I'm not real happy with the way this draft came out i thought that Beane didn't need to make another trade after going from 28 to 32, i wished they would have taken Leggette at 32 & then took Keon at 33 that would have been enough to shut some people up maybe not all and those extra picks unless Beane & company know something we don't . But i'm still not going to the extremes that some here are going to it doesn't matter who or how great the coach is every year is totally different especially since free agency took over so please get over the fire McD thing !! Besides name me 1 coach that you could bring in and guarantee that by that change & that 1 change alone the Bills would be any further ahead some said Sean Payton but look at how he left the Saints he was a huge part of putting them in the hell they are still in, yah thats what the Bills need !!
  5. I would be surprised if Buffalo grabbed another receiver. I'm only going based on what Beane has been saying about liking the WR room as it is. I think the fact that he didn't grab 2 guys in what was supposed to be a historically deep WR class tells me all I need to know about how he values that need.
  6. So in this hypothetical situation you're a WR who is heavily dependent on who is throwing you the ball. So in the draft process you eliminate the possibility of going to a team with one of the best passers in the league because it's cold and snowy there. Despite the fact that on your rookie deal how you perform will decide your NFL fate.
  7. Unfortunately they will be here till the new stadium and beyond cause Pegula is an owner who really doesn’t care
  8. Page 6 of this thread has been 🔥from you all. Reasonable discussion of his potential for IOL position flex or not. Experience and performance. Short arms. Athleticism. Interesting size/weight comps to other perceived smallish centers. Funny how well we keep things objective on a day three OC versus a day two WR. Makes sense.
  9. As I said, there's room to criticize McBeane for getting into the situation they were in, but they certainly seem to have navigated the situation quite nicely.
  10. In order of my preference: Odell Beckham Jr - His last 2 stops have been highly successful (except for the injuries) as a mercenary receiver. Dude will be an injury risk for the rest of his career I think, but he can still play. And it's hard to go wrong with a guy who likely would've won a Super Bowl MVP if he didn't get hurt. I would have no problem with him mentoring Coleman, also. This is the only guy worth spending the Tre White money on, IMO. DJ Chark - I liked him a lot coming into the draft, and he did have some early production in Jacksonville. Size/speed guy who hasn't fully put it together, but also hasn't played with a QB nearly as good as Allen. Michael Thomas - His injury history makes Beckham look like Cal Ripken Jr. I don't think he'll ever play a full season again. But he's a guy who has been ELITE, and he showed some real flashes of his old self at times last season. He also disappeared a lot last season, but I'm not sure how much of that was because his relationship with the Saints was completely broken a couple years ago. On a 1 year deal, could he be both healthy and fully bought in? Gallup was the only other guy that interested me, and according to this thread he's off the market. 1 year, $3 million is about what I'd offer Chark or Thomas. Beckham will ask for (and get) significantly more than that. No matter what, I'll be super interested to see how the Bills spend the June 1st money. I'll be shocked if they don't sign someone with a decent chunk of it. But they could split it on maybe 2 Gallup-level signings, or put it all towards a bigger Beckham or Leonard Floyd-style signing, maybe with the help of void years. I think who they DON'T sign will be just as telling as who they do.
  11. The RB they picked up looks like a great addition, and not for nothing but this will be year 3 for Cook who if he manages to step up his receiving game more would be the kind of RB you sign to a second deal, but either way it's good to not forget that decision is down the road. Saw a clip of him on plays as a blocker, DBs may have had to seek trauma counseling.
  12. That’s not how the “I know better than the GM” game works haha. Instead they will be make a new mock in 3 years with their draft choices with 20/20 hindsight vision.
  13. No thanks. The O-line is set. The kid from Georgia was the last missing piece. They have depth across the line. They are a bit less multidimensional as compared to what they have been in the past. They don't have a Swiss army knife guy like Bates that can play anywhere in a pinch. They seem to have solid back-ups across the line and a nice mix of a developmental guys and break the glass incase of emergency vets.
  14. I’ll take the next three: St Louis - no need to look it up. Obviously. Washington County, MS - 70% voted dem in 2020 election Petersburg, VA 87% dem in 2020 Will await more brilliance like the last effort from L Ron Dumbass before spending any more time on this.
  15. That isn't a wild take tbh, especially in light of Coach Prime's very public comments about advising his guys to avoid cold weather teams. Then again, JA17 helps a LOT.
  16. LARPers are with the lefties now?
  17. It’s definitely not a champions mentality mindset, that’s for sure. Bills fans should expect and demand more. Unfortunately that’s what 20 years of suck does. McDermott and Beane are not horrible. They are just not good enough. But then again with josh as your qb he would make many gms and coaches look not horrible. Yeah I get it beane drafted him. But at some point something needs to give here.
  18. Why fortunate to hit on Allen? How about savvy or wise or incredibly bold to stand strong on a guy that pundits, fans, and fellow gm's were calling a bust even before the draft. As for this roster not being talented....I disagree. It was talented enough to win the AFC East for the 4th straight year, a playoff game, and take the eventual super bowl champions down to the last minute. Or was that just "fortunate"? And most of the top end talent being from before him.....other than Dawkins and Milano, who on Earth are you speaking of? Every other player on that roster was his acquisition. Cap hell?? The Bills currently have 5 million in AVAILABLE cap space for next year. Compare that to SF who are 30 million OVER, Cleveland who are 52 OVER, and NO who are 73 OVER. As for our roster not being as talented as KC....perhaps. But why compare us to the one team that won the super bowl? We did draft 28, so clearly there are 27 teams with a worse roster than us. You do realize that over the past 5 years the Bills have the 2nd most wins in the NFL. I guess we're just fortunate. I wonder why San Diego with Herbert and Jax with Trevor Lawrence aren't just as fortunate. If my glasses are rose colored, yours are bleak, dark, and downright depressing.
