It was PI and the rule does not have to be changed. The point of the rule is to permit the intended receiver to make a play to catch the ball and to prohibit the defender from interfering with the receiver attempting to catch the ball. If the receiver stops to make the play and the defender runs into him, it's pass interference, all day, every day, and should be. Think about it the other way, the defender being ahead of the Shakir instead of behind him. If Shakir were running full speed and the ball were perfectly thrown, if the defender stops and Shakir can't get to the ball, it's interference. This was the opposite - the defender behind the receiver kept running and Shakir stopped. It's interference both ways.

I've been thinking about this change for awhile. I wanted to get some input. Currently, the division winners get an automatic playoff home game. This is despite if another playoff team has a better record. Likely going to happen to the Bills this year. I get the NFL wants to reward division winners but it's at the expense of other teams good seasonal records. Personally, I think it's more fair to have the team with the better record to host the playoff game instead of the divisional winner. What are your thoughts? Do you think at some point this might happen?

The Bills need to continue to feed the TEs and RBs to move the chains. They are simply unable to stop the run and stop teams from scoring TDs.

There are so many butt-naked needy children in the third world that desperately need these.

I do think our replay specialist needs to figure this out asap or we need to replace him. That gave them a huge leg up and set the tone right out of the gate.

The one replay they showed before the next snap 100% was wiped out by the broadcast delay. They had to interrupt the quick replay for the next snap. That replay didn’t show anything in the first place. this is a weird social engineering thing where I think dislike of McDermott is warping reality haha I definitely thought there was a replay of the ball hitting the ground before the next snap but there wasn’t. It’s from kinda 3/4ths view over boutte’s shoulder and the ball is completely blocked by the pats sideline

Go on Twitter, and all I see after every game is "the NFL is trying to save Josh Allen!" with attached clips of calls like this. There's also a ton of Chiefs & Ravens fan who constantly whine about Allen flopping, or posting clips from unrelated games & saying "if this happened to Josh Allen, the league would change the rules mid-game!" So while we may not have the entire NFL fandom directing hate our way like the Chiefs, there's a growing chorus of haters trying to rally the internet against the Bills already.

I’m way more concerned about the way we start games than no help in big market opposing stadiums from replay assist. I asked this question in the post game thread and no one bit but what are our best working theories as to why we consistently play poorly in first halves? Bills seem to be good on offense on opening drives but then stall until last two mins of the half and into second half. Defense is an abomination until second half every week.

It caught my attention when BEFORE this season started McD said this record will never be broken. And Chiefs made no bulletin board material out of it. It’s as if the chiefs knew deep down the run was over.

Pat*s get one game (ONE GAME) where all the calls don't go their way and it's a meltdown. - the refs cist us the game - the NFL wants Josh Allen to win Cry me a river - you had that for 20 years.

Funny. Not a peep about the noncall on Shakir in Q4 of game 1 after the refs called that one tight all night that changed the trajectory of that game and our season.

Cleveland scares me. We've had some really weird games against them.
