The reason you feel that way is because Bishop doesn’t pass the eye test. He’s soft and often out of position on pass coverage. I’ve yet to see him put a hard lick on a TE coming over the middle or plug up a hole against a big back like Henry or Mixon. The reluctance of oblivious fans to accept what they see, not withstanding, we need a more physical and aggressive safety. Beane hangs his hat on the Allen pick and he’s had some other great picks and acquisitions(Cook,Brown, Benford, Shakir, Oliver, etc) but he’s also had some clunkers. Elam, Miller, Kincaid, and Bishop come to mind. I haven’t given up on Kincaid but Bishop just doesn’t show any of the attributes of the kind of safety we need.

I for like 15 years held the record for the fastest tear down of a full band, instruments, sound, and full light show, at Sunset Bay Beach Club. The 1000 mg Magnum speed pills I took helped quite a bit.

Trump ❤️ Tariffs
leh-nerd skin-erd replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well, you started by suggesting I was right, then later on talked about true republicans being shunned and cast your opinion as an "idiotic assumption", which seemed at odds with the notion that I was right. It was meant to be a light-hearted quip and appears I have missed the mark. Since I've come this far, I guess I should make sure I clarify my comments from the post. There was a time I felt as you did, and that was right was right and wrong was wrong. I truly meant the part of your perspective being noble. It would be awesome if that's the way government works. You may absolutely be correct that holding the line, staying above the fray and doing 100% the right thing is right regardless of the outcome. Perhaps if the curren admin did, any and all future admins would follow suit. I simply don't feel that's realistic anymore, and that government(s) do not operate like that regardless of who is in charge. That's our reality, and I just don't see the point in pretending it is not. That was my only point. -
Ross Tucker interview of Michael Hoecht
hondo in seattle replied to Commish's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hoecht said he put his faith in someone who didn't have his best interest at heart. What if that's a true statement? What's the problem with articulating that? He also said (multiple times) that it was his mistake. Without evidence to the contrary, I chose to take him at his word. I agree about Tucker, though. He looks small. -

Have our draft picks signed their contracts?
ColoradoBills replied to billvernsays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think there will be a post June 1st cut and then Beane has enough to sign all 3. -

This time President Appeals Court scores one for MAGA! Weeee wooooo we all having fun with all the power the Uni Party has ceded to the executive branch in order to control yo…..I mean better govern us yet? If you find yourself at odds with that assertion you should be on Team MAGA. That’s what this movement is. I know it sounds odd if you are like me and support his tariffs - but he’s playing by the rules the Uniparty set. Rules that set this country to the financial and societal brink. He's resetting the playing field. So climb on board Team DOGE! Team MAGA! Let’s start dismantling the size and tentacles of the Federal Government and turn it back over to the people.

It’s was the summer of 92. I think the stuff was brand new. I think gnc was too. those insane weight gain powders they sold were comical. Yes man you nailed it. I thought at 48 the bills were going to invite me to OTA’s this year.

Browns Laugh Of The Day... Their Posting The QB OTA Stats
Beck Water replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
Heh. Flacco is "fools gold" as a QB at this point, IMO. He can still master the playbook and he knows where to go with each throw, so he looks great wearing a red jersey. But put him on the field with young fire-eaters coming full-speed-ahead for his liver and lungs, and it all falls apart. I could be wrong, but I don't think a team will manage to keep Pickett on the practice squad. Guy had a winning record, completed 63% of his passes, and threw more TDs than INT (though only slightly) in 2 years at Pittsburgh. If Cleveland wants to keep him as an option, they'll need to find a roster spot for him. -
If I turned 19 again, it would kill me in no time flat. I had a Connie doin’ her act, and a college buddy who tried to buy me 19 shots of Wild Turkey for my 19th Birthday. Drinking age (other than 3.2% beer) was 21, but for some reason after that night I was 21 everywhere I went. I guess I acquitted myself fairly well? Don’t blow chunks indoors and you’re alright! 🤷♂️ We did not achieve the goal of 19 shots, but I’m still here and that’s a minor miracle.

Here's an observation. Kincaid was #3 among TE for YAC per reception - 6.2 Y/R after the catch. Only Tucker Kraft of GNB (9.1) and George Kittle (6.7) had more. But he's tackled upon first contact. Huh.

Picking a safety in the second round is generally a bad idea. It's a one contract position. Jairus Byrd was simultaneously an All Pro quality player for a couple of seasons and a bad second round pick. There are not many safeties in the NFL that end up being worth bypassing the annual chance to select a potential difference maker at a premium position. More day 1 and 2 picks fail than succeed but it's still the best place to find difference makers.

Does it really matter? I mean, we all just want to shout at the TV…”RUN, FORREST, RUN!!!!”

Elon's Scheduled Temporary Special Employment Ends!
JaCrispy replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Actually quite the opposite- the effort was certainly there, and hundreds of billions of dollars of savings were found… Now, whether the Establishment Republicans have the balls to make the recommended cuts, is a different story, as Elon does not have the authority to make the cuts, himself… But Elon certainly did was hired to do…👍 -
I mean if you want a simple catch with above average yac for a TE. Here. The main problem with Kincaid is his feel for zone coverage could be a lot better. I know he dropped the ball on 4th down against the Chiefs. I know he regressed his 2nd year and maybe injuries did or didn't play a part of it. However, I do put some of it on Allen. He's imo the most obvious choice on this team to exceed expectations this coming year while Palmer, Samuel, and Moore will likely disappoint.

I'm not 100% sold on Bishop but the original post needs to get a grip.

My first band gig of all time was a roadie for a touring bar band. They played this song and it always got a good reaction. Oh to be 19 again.
