  1. Past hour
  2. What makes Hoecht unique is he has athleticism but was a DT in college and is able to win with power inside. Having smaller guys using speed makes it easier to wash them and create a rushing or passing lane. His presence in the lap makes a forward escape less likely or appealing.
  3. You have never heard that.
  4. I mean the Bills are currently the favorites for the 1 seed. So being a wildcard isn't exactly a dream. But yea if we don't win the division this would be a pretty nice set up.
  5. from a purely competitive perspective, I agree, the 5 seed would be preferable. But man, that would suck if the last game ever at Highmark wasn’t a playoff game.
  6. His usage and positional responsibility was the thing that changed this defense. I don’t think it was necessarily all him but the guy was a monster. We need to get a guy to fill that role and ask them to do the same. I think whatever that gave us was changing the entire defense in a positive way. Stand a guy up like that and use him the same way. There must be a LB that we can trade for with a similar skill set
  7. The Day After just wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t do some coach bashing, win or lose. Look, nobody is perfect, so why not just enjoy a big win for a few hours. There are some legit issues to fix, but some people are just looking for an excuse to pile on, regardless of the outcome.
  8. The afc east could end up in a really weird spot where the division winner gets a significantly tougher first round matchup than whoever ends up being the wildcard if you swap the jags out in that graphic for Baltimore or kc, would you rather be the bills or the pats? Really interesting question
  9. You mean like keeping the other teams fast strike O off the field and resting our D? Smash mouth complimentary football baby!
  10. Go get a LB that can play fast and physical and rush the passer. Play him the way we were playing 55. There’s no real reason to add a Dlineman. We have so many guys. And I just want the big bodies inside. Get a guy that can stand up at the line and run and make the QB uncomfortable. That’s what 55 was giving us. We don’t need a DT the dude was like a big LB
  11. The jags game wasn’t even that bad tbh they outgained the jags handedly and the jags pulled off some real low success rate catches to move the ball at all.. 7 points of the jags total were a mahomes pick 6
  12. Thought I was the only one who feels this way. Last time the Jays made a run they threw a bunch of bottles on the field. Somehow they manage to outdo Philly. It’s more than not having regular season sellouts, that place is practically empty most of the year.
  13. After the two disgusting losses I decided to not wear any Bills gear. Past two weeks I didn't put on any Bills paraphernalia.
  14. Ooooff. That has to hurt so bad!
  15. if that is the AFC playoff bracket, that would be an absolute dream.
  16. It is too early but the Bills sitting at 5th right now. There are hints of change in the AFC power structure. Included in that is that the Cheats* look like they are becoming the real deal. The Bills do not have a cupcake to improve their standings. https://www.nfl.com/standings/playoff-picture https://www.profootballnetwork.com/2025-nfl-playoff-picture-bracket-week-9-2025/ Crazy but if season were over today - Bills path is through Indy - I would actually like that path - indoors at Indy I think Cook runs through them like they were not even there.
  17. I wore my Bills hat backwards. I usually flip it backwards when we're losing.
  18. The biggest thing AJ did was make sure he didn't land with his weight on Mahomes - if he does they throw the flag for sure. Was great awareness and body control to not do that
  19. DT or Wr please!
  20. Up until last week, and especially what happened in the game yesterday, I would have considered S as a target at the deadline. Not my highest priority, but on the list. However, after the injury to Hoecht and how well Bishop played, I am not in the market for a S by tomorrow. There are just too many other holes that are more glaring needs. Poyer is not great, but his presence seems to have settled the back end of the defense down a bit. Bishop has gotten better and better every week and yesterday was a coming out party of sorts for him as he showed flashes of the potential he has. Will he be that great every week at this point? No. He's still going to make mistakes and miss tackles from time to time. But you saw the promise and I am not going to get in the way of that. And even though Poyer can't keep up physically, he's always lined up properly and helping to get the other guys lined up and get to where they are supposed to be as well. What's even nicer to see is that Jordan Hancock is starting to get more run in there in certain packages that require more speed and he seems to be showing promise of his own. You throw Hairston in at CB and how great he has looked in his first 2 outings and I am ready to knock S off the list of priorities and allocating those potential resources to WR, DT, and pass rusher. I'll live with the growing pains from the kids back there because when they are all working together, the speed and athleticism difference in the secondary has been extremely noticeable watching the last couple games. They all need to be out there full time and let the kids make their way with Poyer and Tre taking on more of a player/coach role the rest of the way.
  21. So tell me - what's the sinister explanation? As I said, your link doesn't work.
  22. Many of us laughed at this signing. Dudes been a force of nature.
  23. I'm thinking they will be 11-6 at the end of the year. They will lose a game in the division, and maybe the Colts or Dallas
  24. Not to mention letting them sit out for a year and learn from a vet seems to make a tremendous difference in a qbs development and mahomes got drafted to a much better roster. Who knows if mahomes even turns out to be the same player if he went to a talentless franchise and had to be the immediate starter instead
  25. KC's defense has been playing fairly well all season minus the Jags game. So for the Bills to out physical their D-line was a good sign.
