What I picture with these threads is that Trump is Benny Hill with the dems/libs (and the loons hare) running after him with Yakety Sax playing in the background.

Training Camp News - Around the League version

I didn't scout a lot last year, but I had scouted Horton a couple years ago and was really impressed by him. -
Keeping SVPG on PUP is the easiest and best answer. Possible injuries and roster views will make it clearer after 4 weeks. Jacob Mayer was said to be looking good earlier in camp and should be easy to get on the PS as an Anderson backup if needed. “If a player starts the NFL season on the Reserve/PUP list, they are eligible to return during the season after missing at least the first four games. Teams then have a five-week window to begin a 21-day practice period, during which the player can be activated to the 53-man roster.“

Cam Newton had a shoulder injury which ruined his arm He could still run his entire career lol I have posted multiple statistics over the years which breaks down 30 years of quarterback injuries showing that running quarterbacks do not get hurt at any more rate than a pocket passer In fact it's safer outside the pocket than inside the pocket and Josh Allen is taking on smaller corners and safeties , even some linebackers are smaller than Josh when he gets outside the pocket Inside the pocket you are stationary with 300 hound men flying around your kneecaps... Most quarterback injuries happen inside the pocket over the last 30 years and no data shows running quarterbacks are more likely to be hurt Josh is usually delivering blows not taking them... Most defensive backs don't want to tackle Josh

He was picked up as a projected starter. He clearly isnt the same as either Davis or Diggs but im pretty sure they were expecting more than what he produced. So as a starting wr he was projected as a replacement - but to replace what Diggs or Davis brought to the offense sure you can make that argument - i think they wanted a RAC wr that could get separation on shorter routes and make them into bigger gains or get open early and often. They went out and got Moore and Palmer for similar reasons. I dont think anyone was or is under the illusion Samuel would be Stephon Diggs in his prime. But im pretty sure they expected 600-800 yds with the best case sniffing 1000. Im not sure they have those expectations anymore with him and to a degree they seem like theyve made contingencies accordingly.

Josh and the Oline speak in their own language, including tongue clicks. Dion demonstrated, and he said another awesome thing about returning top 8 OL is that they all speak the language, and it’s evolved, and more complex. Brilliant idea. Josh can have conversations with oline as he scans the defense, and get feedback from OL. Even if they audible “White 80, white set” often, knowing the audible phrase doesn’t tell you much. The following audible might mean “ignore “ white 80, white set. This next call is the play. Bills players have been Chess and Catan. Josh is wicked smart. 37 on the Wonderlic is damn impressive. I don’t doubt that Josh and OL have developed a complex new language, and will use it against opposing teams. Josh playing 3D Chess again. Josh says go meet Phyllis for wings in Room 40 Go Bills!

This isn't really addressing Septide's point which is that Josh's physical style of play likely has a shelf life. Elway and Young weren't exactly bowling guys over. The better comparison is Cam Newton who hit a wall in his 30s and couldn't dominate the same way anymore. Josh is more talented than Newton as a passer and overall player so there should be lots of confidence he can change his game over time with considerable effectiveness, but he likely does have to change. Septide's related point about our receiving talent is on point as presumably one part of Josh running less is him needing to make more plays in the pocket; we could also lean more into our RBs. Anyway, I share the same concern about the Superman timeline. We maybe only have a year or two left of this version of Josh.

Another one - Trey Hendrickson asks for a trade from Cincy

Bosa is not the pass rusher anymore Hendrickson is. Career wise they are basically identical but not anymore. Bosa has not had a double digit sack season since 21 and Hendrickson has had three since then and has had 17.5 each of the last two seasons. buffalo will never trade for him but we do have his former defensive line coach on staff. -

Their defense will be demonstrably worse without Lou Anarumo and they were already a dumpster fire. #32 in the league, #30 at best. -

He has played 7 seasons, and nobody expected too much early from a raw QB new to the league. Since then he’s been to two AFCCG’s, so I can be patient rather than being (imo) rash and emotional. I like our odds best on this path, despite those who disagree. -
I think the biggest reason teams are rethinking the issue is the change in practice rules in the last CBA.
-
Let them think that.

One could, but it would make one look like a complete dumbass. Chin up, big guy. You will have plenty to complain about no matter which way it goes. Hoax. YUGE hoax. My point is that you want people to believe the “nobody is above the law” bit is something new and unique to Trump. Idiotic. Until now, apparently. Brilliant work.

My commentary was directed towards the NFL's clear favortism... Here's the definition, in case you weren't sure of it: Dictionary Definitions from Oxford Languages · Learn more fa·vor·it·ism /ˈfāv(ə)rəˌtiz(ə)m/ noun the practice of giving unfair preferential treatment to one person or group at the expense of another. Have you or have you not witnessed that for the Pat*****s or Cheats? I rest my case.

Not to mention that Quarterbacks are much better protected by the rules now, they took a beating back in that era; just ask Jim Kelly and his multiple surgeries about it.

I think we could offer what they are hoping to get, but I don't think they would do it for us. Pretty sure they'd be willing to take just slightly less to get him out of the conference if they do indeed truly have to let him go. -
You're way out of your depth and, in this instance, you have even less knowledge of what you're talking about. The Mueller report was blunt: no exoneration, and legally sufficient evidence to proceed. Done and done. The guy who spent months looking at the evidence refused to conclude that the evidence is legally insufficient to establish an obstruction crime. Quite the contrary. Unlike you and the rest of the Trump sycophants on this board, I actually know what I'm talking about. Nobody is above the law. And Mueller refused to exonerate, and similarly refused to conclude that the evidence was legally insufficient to establish a crime of obstruction. What's your point? Somebody else did something wrong, so Trump's sin is excused? Dumb, even for you. And, besides, unless there's a statute of limitations that I'm not aware of, there's nothing that says that the Trump AG's office couldn't prosecute now. So go for it. Call Pam, or better yet go to law school, take the bar, go to work for Pam, and take the case. You got this! One could say the same about the current occupant of the White House. He thought the friggin summit was in Russia.

It sounds like we use “white 80 white set” or “omaha set” to snap it every time. At the risk of sounding like a total idiot, if I was the opposition I would be jumping that every time. Do they vary it up during the season? I mostly hear him using those on tv as well.
