"Is that what's got you crying the blues, Bunky?" đ˘

Isn't he a hype machine or tone setter for the D line? Is it possible that coach just thought the D line room was too reserved? All the4 nasty guys are in the o line meetings
-
I think our defensive line is really going to have to play above expectations in order to give the secondary a little bit of a Headstart.

A loss to the Ravens wouldn't surprise me. They have a strong team and the revenge factor going into this game as the Bills did end their season last year. If the Bills do start 0-1 then they better get a win at MetLife in week 2. The Jets suck but at MetLife in recent seasons they have given the Bills trouble. They have won 2 of the last 3 matchups there. Plus, Allen has had some struggles in that stadium. This board would explode if they started 0-2.

Ya , pretty rough , also Benard, Rapp injured.. But some positives- Milano looks phenomenal Keon should take a massive jump in year 2, be a true WR1 Our 2 rookie DTs look like they could be true difference makers in year 1 Bosa looks good! And no injury is season ending, depending on the Tre White news.. cheers brother

Not sure but last year there were six undrafted UB free agents on NFL rosters. The Bills had 3 of those 6 (Lewis, Ingram, Andreeson).

Its comical how long teams take to make their cuts. I mean you aren't holding any secrets on your 54-90 guys.
-
The starters really didn't play at all in pre-season and, as a result, I'm expecting them to get physically dominated in the first half by Baltimore. Josh will be rusty for a few quarters as well, and that's fine.. just come out of that game healthy and go on a run against inferior opponents leading up to the Chiefs game in Nov.

Joe Marinoâs All 22 from Bucs preseason game
BillsShredder83 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
The knock we've all seen is failure to keep his pads low. What keeps running through my mind is that back injury. Obv its healed, but wonder if theres a mental barrier thet guys returning off injury have. Acl guys tend to not want to do the explosive cuts they did pre-injury, without even realizing it from what I've heard... like they're continuing to protect it. Some extra reps with Larry O out early season could be exactly what the doctor ordered for his mental recovery. Just my 2cents -
Friendly reminder that the Bills are a very good team that other top teams do not like going up against. We usually win against them in the regular seaaon.

I can say with the utmost confidence that nothing that happened during preseason concerns me. At all. I'm more concerned about the amount of wine left in the box on my counter.

Good point. Trade package for Parsons includes Carter/Oliver

Yep. Dempsey missed an easy FG for the win as time expired. Guy sitting behind us said if he misses this Iâm gonna run out there and kick his a$$. We were only about 10 rows up so he didnât have a long way to go and he ran down the aisle and jumped onto the field. Last I saw was a half dozen security guards in hot pursuit.

So, should I feel better now? Or are we still doomed?

Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL
LABILLBACKER replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, they weren't and who knows if they'll ever be true gamewreckers? We swung and missed on Von. We can't afford Parsons or Hendrickson. I donât have the perfect solution. We gotta keep drafting pass rushers until a star arises. -
That's the home opener, as the actual opener is this Thursday (8/28) at 8pm, at Minnesota on FS1. Can they finally beat a BigTen team? in the 2000's it seems like most of the MAC teams have beaten a B10 club at some point. But i could be totally wrong about that lol.

You donât know what hard times are daddy. Hard times are when the textile workers around this country are out of work, they got 4 or 5 kids and canât pay their wages, canât buy their food. Hard times are when the auto workers are out of work and they tell âem go home. And hard times are when a man has worked at a job for thirty years, thirty years, and they give him a watch, kick him in the butt and say âhey a computer took your place, daddyâ, thatâs hard times! Thatâs hard times!

I think that the trend in recent years is to pretty much treat preseason like practice, especially for the more established teams. So holding people out for 4 weeks due to a hammy doesn't mean that its more severe than usual. Just that they actually have an opportunity to have them sit and heal during practice/preseason. And given the noise this year, I wouldn't really mind a slower start to the year if that meant we were in full stride come January. I think most fans and teams realize this, but you know the NFL and media will squeeze every bit of revenue from the meaningless practice games if they can. So I'm not too worried, except for the Safety position, since it seems that was kind of ignored so far this offseason. Sort of a wait and see situation.

Kinda feels like we're paying more and more each year for basically the same team. Haven't felt like we've improved in any meaningful way in years. We've still yet to reproduce Stefon Digg's numbers and have had a safety carousel since Hyde and Poyer left. Meanwhile the Ravens have now gone from having one All Pro safety to maybe two with Malaki Starks. The Chiefs have gotten pretty good production from their first round pick that we just handed them, meanwhile we're probably cutting the guy we drafted with the 3rd we got in return. Not a great feeling.
