Agree, should have thrown the flag. I didn't think it was clear on a first quick view but you have very little to lose. First half time outs are nice but not essential at end of half. Even if your guys upstairs are still looking and wondering just throw it.

Absolutely. The first  thought on the telecast film was it was more likely not a catch just from the reach and initial point of ball contact. A fail by either the dedicated replay person or McD if he didn't take a call to throw the flag.

NE got to the line before he could make a decision. He stated in post game there was no replay to see and the Jumbotron showed it was close.  Should he have thrown it? Yeah, but with lack of info, he didn’t.

 

If he had thrown it, and it wasn’t overturned pitchforks would be waiting at Prior Aviation for him.

 

Patsies were juiced for this game, as well as the fans. Many poor decisions in the first half on offense and defense. Thankfully they adjusted big time 2nd half and played a heck of a half.

 

Remember, patsies had the bye. Great win by our team for sure!

But they were not that quick at all. There was plenty of time.

 

And I have no idea how it works, but does it really depend HC to look at some screen on the stadium? I've always thought that teams pay someone who sits in front of TV screen and tells HC to throw a flag...

I thought it was an interception by the Pats defender. The hold on Coleman was marginal. The Bills definitely got some breaks today. I don't hate it either.

It has been said, but I feel deserves to be said again, what a great job limiting their WRs without Benford. I was down on him in first half but put that in the “Sean can coach” column.

Honestly, that game felt like the kind of game the Pats**** would lay on us during the drought, every time we thought we were ready to topple them.

Compounded by a strange quick out to Shakir on 3rd and 15 that gained 8.  If you were going to play for 4th down on 3rd down, why are you now punting?  That was a bizarre coaching sequence at the time.

It looked to me like the receiver had stepped out of bounds before coming back in to make the catch? They never focused any of the replays in that aspect.

I'd be happy if the Bills traded him for a 4th or 5th round pick. He might be decent on the right team who can utilize his skill set. That's not Brady. Right now he's dead weight.

Add me to your list of "fair weather fans" if your criteria is not being ok with a team that can't string together two good halves of football.  I love that they won, but I still don't think I'm witnessing a championship formula.

Say what you will.  But this loss will be felt deep in the pysche of the Patriots and Pats fans.  Going into half time with a dominating 17 point lead and then proceed to give up 5 straight TD drives to the Bills (one in 2nd).

 

Random thought.  I hate that the Bills were so afraid of the NE Kick game that they chose to put the ball into the EZ after finally getting a TD.  That gave NE a short field to add 3 more points before halftime.  At least I presume that was the instruction given to Prater.
