Well, i thought we would steamroll the Bengals and then have a great win over New England.  We didn’t exactly win as i thought, but any W is great today.  I do think the Bills take out the Pats. McDermott is so good in these regular season revenge games.

I don't even hate new England. I just don't care about them. The entire fan base is entitled and uneducated. They are delusional and bandwagon. There is no spirit in that ***** hole in town. The franchise almost moved twice due to lack of care.

Their fans don't know football. All of those statements don't reflect illness or anger.

I look at them as the special needs kid in the class, the one who's disruptive sometimes but you largely just ignore because they can't help themselves. I suppose I'd be the same way if I lived in a place such as that.

Dude.  wtf are you talking about? Do you actually know any pats fans? I live in NE and the fan base is universally not bought into thinking the pats are a heavy favorite to do anything

Its going to be the game of the week for CBS, and pretty much period.

They pointed out Vrabel is undefeated coming out of the bye as a HC.  Need to put an end to that.

Yeah, well even if they lose they likely win the division as well. We would need the Dolphins to upset them in New England or the Jets to beat em. It's probably not happening. Just win and control what we can at this point.

Ask a Pats "fan" about their last playoff game. They will say, " it was awesome and Brady was great".

Same here. The line I hear is that the team is ahead of schedule with their franchise QB, organizational alignment, a very good coach, and a ton of cap space. Their future is bright.

Honestly, as weird as it sounds, I don't care much about the division.  Sure, you are guaranteed a home game, but we have won the division all these years in a row and it has really gotten us nothing in the end.  This year, it's about getting in the tournament and seeing how far Allen can take a pretty average/bad supporting cast.  And, if we have to go on the road to do it, so be it.  I'll take Allen over any other QB we will face and just hope that the rest of our team can make enough plays on both sides of the ball to win every game.

That said......I want to absolutely eviscerate the Pats* next week.  They got us the first time in large part because of our own stupid mistakes and game plan and the rest of the season they have been getting fat on tin cans......  The glazing on that team has gotten out of control and I want to be the ones to give them a reality check.  Sure, even if we win, they will probably still win the division.  Fine, because if we do beat them, and especially if we beat them handily, they will know what's up coming down the stretch.  I mean, we're still really banged up and it's going to be hard for us to win any game against any opponent, but I hope this team has a bad taste in their mouth from the last meeting and go up there to send a message regardless of how the rest of the season plays out.

But in the end, how much does this game matter?  I don't know.  Because even if we lose to them next week, am I going to fear them if we play them in the Playoffs?  Not really.  What today's game did for us, and some of the other games around the league, is take some of the pressure off.  We probably get in with 1 more win.  What these last few games are to me is all about getting as healthy as possible coming down the stretch and heading into to the Playoffs.  In a way, a loss next week makes it easier to sit all of our injured guys to get them as much rest as possible.  Palmer doesn't have to come back.  You can sit Bosa until the Playoffs.  You can give Kincaid time off to get back to 100%.  If we would have lost today, things would have looked a lot different.  But we found a way and it maybe gives us a few more options no matter if we win or lose next week.  Regardless, the plans heading into the Playoffs become a lot more clear when next week's game is over.

It’s not the end of the world if they don’t win the division … provided they can rest up a little last couple of weeks of the regular season and go in as healthy as they can

100% dont care. Would i "like" to? Of course. But realistically:

Its the #1 seed & everyone else 🤷‍♂️ ive come to terms with that. 2nd or 7th is 90% the same to me. Actually if those are the choices, during this season, gimme the lowest seed. We need the best draft infusion possible. Im firmly in category that were pretenders with how overly 1-D we are.

However, if weve figured out how to move the ball through the air with TE's and RB's, I think we'd be a serious threat again.

Either way id prefer we pick a direction and g2 it. We learn ways to move ball through air without WRs 🤷‍♂️ GREAT! Go be the best at it! Go on a run.

If that disappears again, id prefer for our medium to long term future, we stall out and miss the playoff.

that year 2023 where they had to win like the last six games in a row … they were gassed headed into the playoffs…

meantime the Chiefs had a lower seed but rested everyone in Week 18 … so were fresh as a daisy comparatively when they played us two weeks later in the playoffs

The only reason I care about winning the division is that it guarantees a home game or two.

And this team really needs the home game, as we've never won a single playoff game on the road with McDermott & Allen.

slim odds of it happening though …

they can beat anyone anywhere … the three teams I was worried most about at the start of the year Chiefs, Ravens and Bengals might not be there

The Bills did what they needed to do against the Bengals Josh was Superman and the defense made clutch plays. The Bills were down Bosa, Palmer, and a few other key players who will hopefully be available for the Pats game. We all knew once the Pats got on a big winning streak and the Remaining games were soft the Bills were at a minimum were going to have to win this game. It is what it is Go Bills.

Yeah must be hard to pay attention to football when your city has multiple HOF players and Championships in three other sports....

Uneducated? Have you walked through the lot before or after a game in Buffalo??? Not many Rhodes scholars jumping through tables...

Bro, slide in the Boston DM's. Maybe you'll get to hit it.

I hear them on NFL radio. I read them in media. I see them all over posting.

I don't live in that shithole.

I have a Steve Grogan football card that he signed for me after a Bills game along with Sam Cunningham.

For bills to win the division.

1 beat NE next week

2 bills beat jets and NE lose to either jets or fins.

pats lose to ravens  doesn’t matter other than it givens bills flexibility to lose to eagles.

tie breaker 1 head to head.

pats W on Sunday they clinch division

tiebreaker 2 division record

right now NE is 3-0 vs bills 2-2, pats need two div loses, one to Buffalo and one to jets or Phil’s.

tiebreaker 3 is common games

looking at 3 noncommon  games Pats are 2-1vs bills 1-1 with eagles coming up.  Bills beat eagles they are tied. If pats lose to ravens, bills can lose to eagles, thrn bills in a tie would have the better common game record, mif they beat eagles it’s tied.

tiebreaker 4 is conference record

right now pats are 5-0 vs NFC, bills are 3-1 with eagles game, bills will clinch thus if tied.
