how much play has Jamar Chase's desperate jog after Christian Benford on the pick-6 gotten?

I think most people think that the camera angle gave the false impression that Chase was closer to Benford than he actually was.

Very little. People are saying it was a deceptive camera angle and he really wasn’t that close to him. Is that not true?

A bit. A few people thought he let up early.

Some people thought that it wasn't possible for him to catch up and that he realized that and let up.

A few people were sure he was gonna catch Benford.

I was in the middle group. Benford glanced over his shoulder and saw Chase and started changing his angle and I'm pretty sure that's when Chase knew it was over.

Agreed. It wasn't really that close but the psychology of the Bills fan comes into play.

This is what I posted in the first half...

once again Sean Mcdermott is standing on our sideline watching the opposing teams lousy defense make more plays than his.

How many more times do we have to watch this?

I've never been more happy to be wrong.  This was incredible.

Might be one of my favorite games ever I think...I have an Oliva Serie V in honor of Joe Burrow for tonight!

I didn't post, but I was very frustrated that Buffalo's defense was essentially conceding the short passing game by giving Cincinnati's receivers all kinds of room.  Later in the game, they turned more aggressive out of necessity.

If we didn’t have Allen I’m convinced we are picking top 5 almost every year

Some people were talking about how easy it should be to beat the Bengals as they were a lowly 4-8 team.  But they are way better with Burrow.  Imagine what the Bills record would be this year if Josh Allen had missed 9 games.  Having a great QB makes a HUGE difference!

Something to note: Benford outran Chase to the end zone

Oh.....I noted it and couldn't believe it.  Adrenaline is something else because Benford is not the most fleet of foot!  It was kind of stunning.

Burrow hands down the most overrated QB in the NFL this season.

I’ve said it before.  He has been given a crown for his defense led Super Bowl appearances and his injuries due to his o line.

he has two of the best 20 wide receivers in the nfl.  A ton of his yards and tds are when he is down and needs to air it out to come back.

he has a very accurate arm and looks calm and measured.  With that said, he isn’t durable, lacks pocket awareness, and doesn’t have that killer gene Mahomes does.

great QB, but overrated

Amazing he goes up and snatches the ball , He is going for the pick all the way not trying to bat the ball.

How many people today deja-vu'd to Denver game 1990? Complete with the pick-6 to take the lead.

I watched the highlights. Anyone remember/notice that Norwood missed a 47 yd FG wide (well, you know)

mind boggling with the best player in the League as QB that we don’t play a more aggressive brand of defense all the time. Instead Mcdermott tries to shorten games by playing conservative D and trying to milk the clock on offense.  Free Josh!

The game left me wondering how unstoppable Allen and the Bills offense would be with two WR's like Chase and Higgins.

One interesting thing that bugged me early on in the first half was the Bills use of Benford on Chase. Despite being best on best, I thought it made more sense to have the bigger bodied Benfor on Higgins and let Hairston’s young legs and safety help to cover Chase.

Regardless, they could just not get it together on the back end today. Whether it was a guy getting beat in man or a player late to the party with too much cushion in zone, tackling and yes great plays on the football by Cinci, they just got whipped by Burrow in the first half.

Just one of those WR's would make the Bills O unstoppable.

Incredibly athletic play imo, one of the better plays I’ve seen. Probably some recency bias,  thought it was mind blowing.

? No he isn't. His accuracy is bananas.

I still think it’s tough to not have that dual threat these days not that I agree with that original poster saying he was overrated at all haha..there will always be a couple teams with straight up stacked dlines that will give that team problems the way they’re structured

he’s an amazing pure passer with time though for sure but the very few times we pressured him the accuracy tanked

Did Fox play today on the D Line?   I see Matt Prater with 2 assisted tackles on the stat sheet and don’t see Fox’s name on there at all.

Same thing he said last week.  This version of the bills is what should scare people.  Allen opening up his game may result in a few more turnovers, but the ceiling is through the roof.
