I know it's pretty much his rookie year but the ones who have it at least show glimpses. I don't think he does. I could be dead wrong and I am a Michigan homer, but I still think McCarthy is going to be great. They need to be patient with him. These early injuries have really derailed him. Quote

I can't think of a single good thing I have seen from him yet I have been surprised he hasn’t flashed more especially with all those elite receiving options and a QB whisperer as a head coach. But I do like his moxy and he is a natural winner. I think his two wins this year showed some glimpses of it. But nowadays, QBs have such a short runway. I can see them walking away from him next year. Quote

billieve420 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Outside of Alec Pierce don’t think there is any WR that would make huge difference unless the Bills can swing a trade for one. Quote
JaCrispy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Bills need to offer 2 first round picks for this guy…enough nickel and diming the WR room… Then I would draft another in the middle rounds… Edited 2 hours ago by JaCrispy 1 Quote

Harbaugh jumped his draft up so much. Until Harbaugh signed with Chargers, I don’t recall many pundits having J.J. even in the first round. He just happened to get drafted in a qb needy draft. He was what, the 5th QB taken? Any other year, he would have been a late 2nd/3rd rounder. Edited 2 hours ago by Dafan Quote

It would be silly to ignore the growing rift between Diggs and the coaching staff dating as far back as Dorsey, at least. And then of course the rift grew to freeze out Josh Allen as well. (Might even have been reciprocated, privately, at that point.) But yes, the Brady-led offense has had major issues consistently getting the ball to WRs who run routes past the line of scrimmage. Diggs, to his discredit, also failed to come through in the playoffs the last couple seasons he was in Buffalo, on an individual level. Moving on simply had to happen, unfortunately. Quote

No one was specifically talking about him playing today. He was drafted to be their future, they let Darnold walk, and JJ hasn’t looked good at all. This thread is about Justin Jefferson and posters are discussing him possibly wanting out because JJ doesn’t look good. The conversations has nothing to do with today’s game, besides Jefferson’s lack of comment after today’s game being the spark for this conversation. You’ve really missed the mark if you think all of this conversation is about one game with a backup qb. 1 Quote

They can wring a lot of production out of physically limited, smart QBs. And then those QBs limitations demonstrate themselves, so they go hunting for the physically talented player to mold, and it can end up disastrous. Brock Purdy bailed out Kyle, but no one is bailing out KOC if McCarthy flames out. Kinda sucks for them honestly. Tough position. And Brian Billick liked Elvis Grbac and dumped his SB winning QB (Trent Dilfer) and never sniffed a Super Bowl again. * Interesting Elvis fact. He has brother named Engelbert. Guess his parents liked guys with pipes. Edited 1 hour ago by reddogblitz Quote

It was insane they didn’t try and keep Darnold IMO. I get it if someone out bids them, but they didn’t even try and banked on an unproven rookie coming off injury with no contingency. Quote

They thought KOC could make just any QB into an All-Pro (and for good reason since he was on a hot streak, even with Josh Dobbs). But you really cant just stick "anyone" in at QB. Not mentioned yet is that the Vikes also had Daniel Jones... but they chose curtain number 3. 3 hours ago, MDH said: I love multiple posters bagging on JJ when he didn’t play. Many people have already seen enough and don't feel like they need to see him play again. Quote

Buffalo Ballin Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago (edited) Justin Jefferson wants out NOW lol We should go all in on a trade for him. Give them what they want. 2 firsts? ok. Done. Minnesota Vikings needs an entire rebuild. 2 first round picks way more appealing than 1 prime Justin Jefferson for them. Edited 49 minutes ago by Buffalo Ballin Quote
