If it means more Shaq that isn't a bad thing from an on field standpoint. Brown being down would really hurt the run game. Torrence is going to suffer not having Brown next to him as well 

 

We still have 6 games left until the playoffs begin. With all the guys out long term, even if we make it we would be fortunate to be more than 1 and done IMO.

I hate to say - I no longer consider Bernard to be a big loss. He hasn't played that well, and he just gets hurt a lot. I hate that for him, but it's what it is.

 

Brown is a tough loss, but we have built some good depth on the O-line at least.  1st guy in that unit that seems like he might be gone for awhile, if not the season (at least at 100%).

 

We have been BANGED UP this year.  Crazy how many injuries.  But to this point, we really haven't lost many guys for the entire season.  

 

The hope is A) we don't sustain too many more injuries, and B) the guys who are hurt mostly make it back by January, particularly Oliver & Brown.

You are not a pro athlete...the treatment and surgical recommendations are far different between normal people and athletes.

 

Athletes routinely have surgery for things that normal people would just let heal on their own to get them back faster and/or strengthen the injured area to help prevent reoccurrence.

There can not be one second of hesitation with Bernard. Get him on the IR and end his season. He was already playing hurt and he’s killing us

 Bad injury for the Player. How do players defend against that injury. Is it a technique issue ?

  

Wear and years of bench press and playing OL.  Just have your arm in a certain angle amd it goes.

 

After 25 years in the highland games, I was getting off the bed after playing with the dogs, there was a pop and crunch.

 

Had half of the supraspinatus anchored back on, biceps tendon moved as the long head of the biceps attaches to the labrum.  They moved it then fixed the labrum
