I just think we sneak into the playoffs. probably take 2-3 more losses. Best case (or worst case seeing how you see it) we win 1 WC game. Team is just too flawed. Deeply flawed. We've got positives too...but we thought the oline was one of them....not so sure.

 

No one will get fired till after the season. Brady will still get some new job, whether its something like Tulane vs Penn State remains to be seen.  He will move on.

As I loom at the Bills roster construction from 30,000 feet I see a team that:

 

*  Made no effort to upgrade the WR room with above average play makers.

 

*  Focused on building a TE room that was better at run blocking then pass catching.  They did this to the extent that their best pass catching TE when healthy is barely on the field for 50% of the snaps.

 

*  Focused on creating a very good run blocking O line at the expense of it's pass blocking ability.  

 

All of this has been done in service to McD's belief that this will result in the complimentary football needed to win a SB. So McD & Bean have structured a roster that is counter intuitive when you have a QB like Allen.  Making matters worse after almost every season the majority of the FA & Draft assets are thrown at the D and yet the D has continually declined and has been the primary reason for losing playoff games.

So we are 7-4 with 10 days rest before Pittsburgh. Gear up and get healthy, because we have a tough stretch of games ahead. 
 

All is not lost, despite hope being shaken to the core for what any playoff run might hold. 
 

Just punch your ticket to the dance and you never know with 17.

 

All the fire Beane fire Brady fire McDermott cut this player etc is on the back burner. We still are in contention, and until we’re eliminated you never know.

 

There will be plenty of time to argue over who is at fault, who needs to go, who can come in and fix this and more.

 

Right now these are the troops, and the battle lies ahead. Prepare yourselves with the army you have, and all we need is a hot streak.

Literally all you need to do is take a more than 7 point lead and you take that out of the equation.

I can't believe it took Bernard getting hurt to get Shaq in the game.  He's been ou best LB this year by far IMO and I don't think that was really difficult to see.

I don't think the current version of the Bills can beat a team with an elite defense.  If the offense sputters, I  don't see this defense keeping another team below 20 points.  Basically there will be no 14-10 or 9-7 victories.

Well considering we are 0-5 under McDermott on the road in the playoffs and this is the worst Bills team since his 2nd year, I'd say no one should be getting their hopes up

I don’t even know how to comprehend what I saw from this OL. 
 

At least Brown was playing hurt.  He wasn’t exactly great before the injury, but at least there’s some semblance of an excuse for him. 
 

Dawkins shtick isn’t as funny when he’s getting Josh killed can committing false starts every game … including one in the worst possible moment today.

The Bills have the best tackle tandem in the game, though they were poor tonight. 

 

I saw some numbers earlier, but the Bills leave their tackles on Islands more than any other team in the league. They trust their tackles to do their jobs and they generally do so, enabling Josh to do his thing. 

 

They got eaten alive tonight, but the Bills also rarely gave them too much support
