“letting Josh be Josh” against the number 1 D with Shavers as his best receiver = 8 sacks.

We’re not a serious organization.

Im sorry.  If that’s the front offices evaluation of our weapons we just aren’t.  We already know they can’t find ANY defensive all pros.

Being unable to identify top end WRs is a disaster.

Oh well.  I guess I should just feel fortunate we have Josh and appreciate it.

That was a crap show from the moment that Prater missed the XP.

And despite that, we still should have won the freaking game.  The coaches got their tails kicked tonight.  The offensive line got their tails kicked tonight.  And because Brady had no answers, we lost.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PICK UP A YARD AND THEN TAKE 4 SHOTS AT THE END ZONE!!!!!  Why aren't you doing that?  It's basic game management and Brady acts like he's never seen football before!!!!

Every freaking pass play is virtually the same.  Run shallow mesh and hope that someone pops open.  They did it all night.  The Texans have 8-9 guys within 10 yards of the LOS and we are running mesh underneath them all night.  Not 1 shot down the field.  Not one.......  You aren't going to win games when the defense knows you are not going to throw the ball over 15 yards in the air and we never take a deep shot.  You have to take deep shots, even if they aren't completed to back the defense off!  We never do it.

Brady is out of his league and Allen's comment to Trubisky even shows that Allen is out on Brady.  If nobody believes in you, nobody is going to play for you and that is where we are with Brady.  He should be done this weekend.  He won't be, but he should be.  As bad as the defense was in the first half, they gave the offense several chances to win the game and Brady couldn't change or find an answer.  This team is in serious trouble right now.

Too many mistakes to overcome lack of talent particularly at WR position.   Missed extra point.  Allen interception.  Shakir fumble.  Still had a prayer at the end but Allen under threw Palmer.   Might win just two games the rest of the season against Browns and Jets.

If winning only 2 more games this year means mcbeane are gone next year, then that may not be a bad thing.

I really don’t like the body language of this team. There seems to be a negative vibe. I’m the world’s biggest Allen defender, but he’s part of the problem now too. He’s not being smart, and when things don’t go well, he’s easily frustrated these days.

Houston had 35 net yards of offense in the second half. McD deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.

Fire Brady.

Too bad he sucked in the first half

It was offensive PI. If he throws to Knox and Knox catches the ball for a 1st down we only get another down with a 15 yard penalty.

I get that.

It was still the right read.

And OPI is 10 yrds.

McD & Bean are guilty of organizational malpractice in the construction of this roster.  Some comments:

*  The O line has been built to run block.   When they have to pass the ball under duress this is a bad O line.

*  Brown should have been taken out of the game two full possessions before he was.  He clearly was hurt and could not block his guy who caused mayhem on those two critical drives.  We scored 3 points on 2 drives that got close to the red zone.

*  What was Brady thinking running Cook FOUR straight times including on 4th down when we had a first down at the Texans 30 yard line?  My goodness that was HS level play calling.  And Allen's comment on the side line yelling "what the hell was that" was spot on.

*  People will say the Bills D played great in the 2nd half ignoring how poorly they played in the first half.  The Texans O was bad and we should have won the game scoring only 19 points.

*  You can't have a false start on 4th & 1 at that point in the game.

*  Again which receiver made a great catch?

We will still likely make the playoffs but who knows.  I will say it again if the Bills don't make the AFC championship game then big changes at HG & GM must be made.

I said it in the 2nd half thread. We’re toast. No defense. Very average offensive line. Good to great running back, nothing at wide receiver, above average at TE (when Kincaid is healthy).  Defense, despite the draft and FA investment a is an absolute joke.

6 or 7 in the playoffs, if we even make it, and 1 and done.

what a waste of JA 17.

But wtf?  Knox was wide open on the sideline and he throws it 4 yards to the right to Palmer in double coverage.  Knox catches that, and its a TD and lead with 20 seconds left!

Typical Bills to tease us to win this awful game and then find a Billsy way to screw up. If Josh throws that pass to Davis 1 yard more in bounds we win. But thats always the way isnt it? If Dawkins the veteran actually paid attention to the snap count, we probably get a first down and call timeout but no of course he has to move.  I'm sorry but even with the depleted talent, Joe Brady has no excuses for serving up that plate of feces. Maybe 4 or 5 good play calls all night. Daboll or a competent OC wins that game with this team. A competent OC counterattacks the blitzs but not our Joe.  As for the defense? Got better in the 2nd half but they are the worse tacklers in the league, out of position and often too small to compete. White is a complete liability out there, never looks at the ball on pass defense and prays for a drop or out of bounds because he is always out of position.

Every year with McD there are games which are completely blown that come back to haunt us. I think all 4 losses count in that category.

this is exactly the point I was just making to someone  … I’m trying to have a lunch with a group of friends whilst watching this mother of a game …

I wish it was 35-7 loss rhan this tease

First half defense killed us. Second half defense gave us a chance. So much better when Bernard went out.  Took an injury to get the right guys on the field. Hope he’s ok.

Feel bad for Josh. Nobody blocked anyone all night. The fact that we had a shot at the end was crazy. We are the worst coached team in the nfl. There’s not a person on that sidelines with a brain. It’s ***** disgusting. We constantly have to overcome our own stupidity. We are almost the only team in the league that can beat us but we can’t wait to do it. Just wall to wall senselessness.

Losing for most of the game and just insisting on running the clock out on ourselves. The hand off on the 4th down when we got stopped was so dumb. How you don’t use Josh’s legs on either 3rd or 4th down on that drive OR at the end is inexcusable. We can’t win with these coaches. It won’t happen. It’s a shame because Josh is only going to get older and the team showed so much heart to keep fighting in this one.

We are the dumbest team in the entire league and it’s all coaching. It starts and ends there. How long was Brown going to stay in there? The guy was hurt for 3 straight drives. Were we seeing if we could get Allen hurt? Can ownership just wake TF up and get this guy out of here? Tell him flat out you make the Super Bowl this year or you’re fired. Idgaf get some insurance. We are literally wasting the best player we ever had with this BS. This loss sucks. It’s very nice to see the defense was almost completely fixed once we made the change at LB. That’s the one saving grace here. But as long as this guy is the coach, we have been where we are going.

I honestly had the same thought...

Huge moment in the game and Josh is goofing around in a Christmas sweater. He could have been spending the commercial break talking strategy with coaches, hyping up his teammates, anything else really

Just saying.. I saw two new tv commercials with Josh tonight.. Pizza Hut and Sofi.. I have seen this before.. QBs get famous and start doing commercials and start sucking on the field.

Both tackles got abused. Brown was worse.

Brown was obviously playing with one arm.

what was Dawkins’ excuse?!

While we are talking Beane and bum deals let's mention Knox. One of the single worst contracts in the NFL.

Also Bosa has been a huge non factor since the injury.

The pass rush has basically been non-existent since the KC game.

it looked like on that play who ever was on the left side line was wide open and could have probaby scored

It was offensive pass interference on Gabe Davis……it was a lost play…..not sure why you’re struggling with this?
