So do you think that every time after a game where Josh gets in front of media and says “it’s my fault”, “I can’t make that pass”, or “I have to be better for my teammates” Sean thinks he is not helping the team win? Why does he allow Josh to always fall on the sword but finds that if he did that “it doesn’t help the team win?”

Salary cap question, Leonard Floyd’s dead cap
Billsflyer12 replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
What exactly are the “cap is not real” people mean when they say that constantly? There are always real consequences for cap maneuvering, some just come sooner then later. -
Its Pretty Obvious why the Chiefs win every year
Billsflyer12 replied to gonzo1105's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD will never be close to Reid McD will never be as good as Spags in playoffs Allen will never be Mahomes (And we literally game him to Chiefs and then drafted a DB) Veach is significantly better then Beane Clark Hunt much better the Terry. The 4 pillars of elite NFL success Owner, GM, Head Coach, QB is 4-0 Chiefs and some by a super large margin. -
Lets support the new Staff and hope for the best.
Billsflyer12 replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
This fan base is just so worn out, every year it’s just blind support and hope for so many. I guess that’s why Pegula feels no pressure to actually win a Super Bowl. For Terry hope is just as profitable as doing what it takes for Super Bowl level success. But sure, just run it back the same again and hope we get lucky some year. Sounds like a good plan. Go Bills. -
Playoff defense not just bad, next level awful
Billsflyer12 replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s the offense fault only in the sense that McD playoff defenses are awful and the singular goal of the offense should be to do whatever it takes to score at least 30 pts. -
Joe Brady Officially Promoted as Bills OC!
Billsflyer12 replied to KDIGGZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seeing McD just said last week the he was a disciple of Andy Reid, one would have thought a 7 year Reid OC, a Super Bowl winning OC, currently available OC might have gotten at least an interview. Guess like many things McD is just talk. -
Which QB do you want to win the Super Bowl?
Billsflyer12 replied to Joe Ferguson's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Lamar and hope he wins. But are we prepared for all the narratives we will get of Mahomes, Burrow and Lamar all getting to a Super Bowl and 2 of those doing so by beating Josh in divisional round in Buffalo along the way? Josh then becomes the 4 best QB in his own conference and there will be nothing we could say to really disagree with that. -
There must be a lot of new posters here on the board or just blind McD loyalists. The reasons so many think the chances the McD ever wins a Super Bowl with the Bills are extremely low have been posted with lots of data, statistics and reasons like maybe 100 times. Literally. There has also been EXTENSIVE talk about other examples of coaches being replaced with much better resumes than McD. If anyone at all cares about a reasoned arguments, whether you agree or not, they are so easy to find on this board in tons of places. My guess is at this point neither side is changing each others mind. The reality is the only person whose opinion matters on this topic is Terry, and I don’t get the sense that there is anything McD can do that ever gets him to replace him.

NFL Coaching Tenure Before Winning 1st Super Bowl

NFL Coaching Tenure Before Winning 1st Super Bowl
Billsflyer12 replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
This has been talked about ALOT on this board, so I thought I’ll just put data review out again for those wanting the data. 1). John Madden is the only coach of the 73 Super Bowl coaches in the history of the NFL to have gone longer than McD without making a Super Bowl appearance. Madden did it in Season 8. 2). Only 11 coaches won their 1st Super Bowl season 7 or later, only 3 (Tom Landry, John Madden, Bill Cowher) did so with their 1st team as Head Coach. John Madden the only one of these 3 that didn’t at least have a Super Bowl appearance. 3). In fact of the 35 different Super Bowl winning head coaches, 29 of them won their 1st championship within the first 5 seasons. 4). No team has ever started the same QB under the same head coach for more than 5 years and seen that duo win its 1st championship together. - These historical stats, along with the current trend the 10 coaches from last 5 Super Bowls of only 1 was defensive coach (Belichick last SB in 2018 season). - As of today the coaches of the top 8 Super Bowl favorites are all offensive head coaches. - As of today 8 of bottom 10 teams coached by defensive head coaches. - As of today this season records of offensive head coaches is 114-88 (.564%), defensive head coaches is 58-90 (.391%) -
NFL Coaching Tenure Before Winning 1st Super Bowl
Billsflyer12 replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
John Madden is only coach to ever make his 1st Super Bowl appearance beyond season 7. He did it in Season 8. Tom Landry made his 1st NFL Championship Game appearance(pre Super Bowl) in Season 7. Again, John Madden is only coach to ever make his 1st Super Bowl appearance beyond season 7. He did it in Season 8 -
Sources say ZERO PERCENT chance McD is fired
Billsflyer12 replied to Brand J's topic in The Stadium Wall
I looks more and more like the Pegulas are more committed to stability and sustainability then to winning a Super Bowl. -
My questions: Does Beane have the authority to fire McDermott? Would Beane fire McDermott if he had the authority to do so? Any way Beane would stay within organization without McDermott? Does Terry ever attend Bills games home or away? Are any of the Pegulas actually in WNY ever?

Per Benjamin Allbright, McDermott's "seat is warm"

Sal Capaccio, is that you? -
He will DEFINITELY say “they all need to be better including coaching” but then say the HC doesn’t run the routes, HC doesn’t miss FG and he agrees with defensive TO and knell down. Bet a lot of $$$$ on it.

1) If you have read many of the 50 threads on this topic, including just 3 pages previously on this one, you would have read about several good replacement names. 2). Do we know that those names would for sure 100% be better than Sean, no. Is it EVER possible to know for sure that who you replace ANY coach with will be better, no. That can’t and shouldn't ever be the standard for firing any coach. That’s living scared and not a standard you or anyone else would use in your life. Do we for example always know if a change in a job, change of where we live, or a change in girlfriend/boyfriend will be better then what we have? No. But sometimes we know in life something has gotten stale or worse and needs to be changed. 3). Many other teams in NFL and other sports have fired more accomplished coaches than Sean and have immediately maintained or even exceeded the performance under new coach. Ex 1). John Fox with the 4 seasons with Broncos: 4 winning seasons, 4 playoff appearances, 13-3, 13-3, 12-4 his last 3 seasons, a Super Bowl appearance. BUT, 3 divisional playoff losses, 3-4 playoff record and fired. Gary Kubiak hired and won Super Bowl the next season. Ex 2). Doug Pederson with Eagles: a .531 winning %, 3 playoff appearances, 4-2 playoff record, a Super Bowl win. BUT, loses in divisional and wild card rounds, and 1 bad season was his last one. Fired. Replaced by a little known assistant Nick Sirianni went immediately went to playoffs the next season followed by a Super Bowl appearance.

Anyone know why all the local media thank Teflon Sean every time after they ask their nothing question? I don’t ever hear reporters from the POTUS on down to small sports thanking the subject after they ask each question at press conferences.

Why do the Bills always defer when they win the coin toss?
Billsflyer12 replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall

Devils advocate...what is Josh is the problem?
Billsflyer12 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
This fan base literally funded a whole wing of a f**king of hospital for Josh, GMAFB about how he is treated. You can both appreciative of Josh and also criticize when warranted. If not your just a fanboy. Grow up. -

https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/locked-on-bills-daily-podcast-on-the-buffalo-bills/id1145479962?i=1000632340805 Pretty knowledgeable and level headed Joe Marino had a lot of great observations from the All-22 here. Josh being a mess was one of the biggest takeaways. -
I’m beginning to think all of his actions/decisions on and off the field indicates narcissism to me. He feels he knows better than his coaches and teammates. He and only he can possibly make the hero play to win the game. It’s immature, selfish and disrespectful to his teammates and coaches. Grow the Fu*k up!!!
