11/20/2025 Bills @ Texans 2nd half game thread

hopefully D adjusts like thye have in some of the games becaue whatever they went to in the second half has not worked at all

I will keep beating this drum.

Beane had 3 years prior to build up this defense and didn't hit on any of his picks.

McDermott, just as bad as Beane, does not have any clue on how to coach an NFL defense. No clue whatsoever. He's a fraud. He was never a defensive guru. Whoever came around with that oil snake salesman slogan for McDermott, should have gotten a raise.

Worst Bills defense ever? No. I checked.

1971. The year I became a Bills fan. Worst scoring defense in the entire NFL. 

Balanced out by the worst scoring offense in the entire NFL.

How an 7 year old became a Bills fan that year is an eternal mystery.

It's depressing to think that outside of maybe the Chan Gailey era and 2005 after Spikes got injured, that this defense is worse than just about anything from the drought era. Even the Dick Jauron defenses would have been good enough to help a Josh Allen led offense to a deep playoff run.

As a defensive head coach, your defence should be good lol.

 

It literally is as simple as that.

 

And that's not even discussing how much money and resources they tied into the defensive side of the ball

Perhaps unpopular opinion: The rookies and 2nd year players are keeping this defense afloat. Anyone that got paid is letting the defense down.

Lots of people do. You got gunner and a Mod ready to jump in and defend this defense at every turn. The ***** is plain as day. We are all die hard bills fans. We wanna win…how can you not see what this is. An average Defense we win a Super Bowl already. This coach IS the ***** problem

Right now, Bishop is our only player on defense. Man his hustle is amazing. Walker is good. Max might be...if only he would be on the field more. Those are the 3 to build the defense around.

The blitzes I have seen are from DBs 5 yards off the ball at the snap.  Just dumb.
