Pretty much every Bills media member is calling on the FO to bring Daboll into the building right now.  
 

Feels like they’ve finally developed a spine to openly question and go after this Front Office/Coaching Staff.

Good lord lol maybe it’s from me living around the nyc area and seeing a lot of giants games but he’s one of the worst head coaches I’ve ever seen.  Just hire whoever the strong coordinators he would’ve brought in as your head coach at that point 😂.

I am all the way on board with this.  I've always been a McDermott supporter.    Even when thats faltered I've stuck to it because I didnt see who a viable option as the next coach.  With Daboll being available I'd be fine with them moving to him.

Out of my afternoon walk...

So part of the reason of the fallout with McDermott goes all the way back to Rick Dennison coaching the offense when he insisted on putting Nathan Peterman in after the bills were struggling on offense. The players were against this because they practice with Peterman every day and new he was not better than Taylor. They were upset with this but still let it Go on because it was going to be the Chargers game. At halftime players were texting people about how pissed off they were and then find out that Peterman will start the second half in McDermott did not have the balls to stop at Denison. 

 

Fast forward to firing Denison and getting dabol. He was part of the McDermott process. Accountability. Brian dabol held players accountable and was very tough. 

 

After 13 seconds when Gable was in that whole mix he saw Sean take the play calling of the defense and do it himself from Frasier. Not only that the offense had done their part. The defense was more aligned with Frasier than they were mcdermott, at least some of the glue guys in most specifically Jerry Hughes. 

 

McDermott shows to fire the special teams coordinator after he had said to kick a squib and the special teams coordinator did not get that information to the whole team including Tyler. 

 

There were nearly brawls in the locker room after this.  The defense let down the offense, a theme that would recur the next year as Frazier continued to be the defensive coordinator which was nothing more than an intermediary to McDermott's defense. 

 

During that time McDermott hired Ken Dorsey to replace Dabol. The bills were struggling on offense and there was that players only meeting that supposedly happened but never confirmed. Well I can confirm it. The players met and the leaders from that meeting went to McDermott and asked to have Dorsey removed. They didn't get their wish. McDermott did nothing, as evidence by their lack of faith and effort put in against the Broncos on that miserable loss. The next day McDermott realized his hands were tied and he had to do something. 

 

Overtime the theme continues as McDermott gets guys that only trust his process, toe the line, and those that don't get moved. You'll end up with that Tyler dunne article which was 100% right 

 

And now the naysayers will claim the players admitted they won for coach. Yes, those are the guys he wants, the guys who buy into his program but too often we've seen he doesn't have the judgment, ability nor respect that he needs.

I can share that the fallout of the immediate aftermath of 13 seconds was that bad.  Heard about it from someone on the flight.  Like “we might have to land the plane” bad.  Jerry Hughes was one the guys going berserk.  
 

Personally, I think McD is our Tampa Tony Dungy.  Class guy, excellent head coach, but not going to get this group to the finish line and it’s time to go.  My major criticism of him as a leader is that he should have owned 13 seconds, and he’s kind of a phony for not doing so.   Leadership 101, and he failed.

even if he just comes in as a consultant and helps give Brady so ideas on plays etc that would be a step in the right direction.  Just set him down in the booth next to brady and have him slap Brady's hand every time he starts to say a crap play in the mic to Josh

Then McD needs to take the next train out of town.  Clearly from his presser yesterday McD has no answers.  He's in a problem solving business and he has no answers. Imagine that.  He sucks!

Daboll won’t tuck his tail between his legs and come back here - he and Sean aren’t on the same page. He will go to another team as an OC or go coach college.

 

I’m also not sure why anyone really wants him to come back tbh.

Great point! Totally forgot about that. 
 

However holding that against him is pretty rough. The Colts are a pretty loaded team across that offense, especially with the drafting of Tyler Warren. 
 

Not the best offensive personnel but easily a top 10 for RB/OL/WR/TE combinations. 
 

The roster subtractions and lack of additions on his side of the ball fall at the feet of Schoen. Don’t know how he’s still dodging the fire after letting Saquon walk to a division rival for peanuts. 
 

Honestly thought if they were going to make any personnel changes in the FO or staff it would have been him first.

I keep seeing this but its pretty well documented that Daboll isnt easy to get along with.   He had issues with multiple coaches he hired in NYG.

Daboll is the type of guy that would get his qb murdered to save himself…I have a feeling the dart injury had more to do with it than anything else.  Dart went back in with a clear concussion after the whole Daboll going into the tent fiasco a couple weeks ago 

 

they know he’s not the guy and he’s gonna get somebody killed
