11/2/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Chiefs 4:30pm Post Game Thread

This was an overall good game by the Bills.  Would have been better had Bosa not stopped rushing Mahomes on 4th and 17.  Cannot stop on that. 
But it also showed how Josh Allen has to have an almost perfect game and Cook also has to have a big game for the Bills to win these types of games.  
A couple of McDermott's defensive timeouts were warranted.  But a couple of them were not. Defense has to be more ready.  Bills could face Chiefs in an early game if Chiefs don't win their division.  So who knows what happens after this.

McD all but called Landon Jackson by name in the presser saying even players who are not playing now have to be ready when asked about Hoecht's injury... I think few teams have the luxury of bringing in a young player in with Jackson's upside... And the one thing about Landon is, he's got a motor and he's not slow... Hopefully he's picked up some good stuff from Hoecht because the Bills want to rush a DE and mix it up on the inside on obvious passing downs, and I think Landon offers a lot more then Solomon... Just my opinion of course.

Fair, but we haven't thrived off of being the one seed and getting to coast/rest players and having one semi difficult home game to make it to the AFCCG like KC has

 

This season is not going to play out the same way it has for the Chiefs previously

 

Whether that means good things for us or not is to be determined

Hoecht played amazing - we will miss him. Hopeflly LJ can step up and actually play for us....if not, Beane needs to bring someone formidable in.

 

Bishop had an amazing game. Dogged him all year for good reasons and he just played his best game of his career.

 

Bosa played amazing. We will lean on him this 2nd half of year.

 

We still need a WR.

 

Prater absolutely needs to make that last kick.

 

the 4th and 17 is inexcusable....mcD special right there.

I wonder if they do try Jackson now in that nascar role that Hoecht was playing with Solomon now. I mean at the point the Bills almost have to trade for a Defensive lineman . They’ll get Jones back and hopefully Sanders ups his game off IR

Have to free up some cash but thinking Beane has to something like Rasheed Shaheed for a 3rd and trade for a DT (like that 39 year old DT playing for ARI). PHI does it every year, with the way the AFC looks this year it's no time to be shy.

Would love to see Campbell become a Bill but I am pretty sure he doesnt want to play in Buffalo.  Shaheed would be an improvement, but not sure if he would move the needle all that much.  Either way, would still be a nice addition.  We are seeing what speed can do on the field recently with guys like Hairston and Hancock. Speed definitely can matter a lot.

this was a tremendous win, the hoecht injury is a bummer but this is the kind of win that can get this team back on track and shake that new england loss off completely.  

 

They can use this game to go on a run here.  

 

The Bills have beat two of the leagues best teams in Baltimore and Kansas City.  Forget baltimore's current record that was a tremendous win week 1.

 

The bills have three excellent wins this year over baltimore, KC and Carolina.  They did what they should do vs the jets, miami and new orleans.  The pats loss created a lull if you will.  I really believe this win lifts them back up.  Everything is on the table and right in front of them.

 

Beane and the front office have 36 hours to give them another shot in the arm with a trade or two also.

There’s one team that pushes us enough down the stretch fairly often.  The other two teams are really bad though yea haha chiefs never have anyone close to the point where you can’t even guess who came in second most years 😂. Caveat though last year the broncos and chargers were solid and the chiefs took care of all their business so no one got close

I don't get why people get so upset over calling time outs. The defense couldnt hear the calls and didnt communicate because of the crowd noise. Thats why he called time out. I be mad that they still allowed a 3rd and 4th forever after it, but not because he called a damn timeout. Thats what they are there for. Can't take em with you.

Yep, the Broncos should give Mahomes fits with their pass rush. Let's see if Nix can play consistent ball because their offense didn't look good today.
