They didn't design bailing clean pockets and missing wide open receivers though.

Make no mistake TODAY some of this pass game issue is definitely Josh Allen.

Im not disagreeing with that. It's rarely just one thing .

But my overall point is when people say "they have no receivers". The point is they want an offensive philosophy that runs the ball and to "grind you out"

I wonder if Josh has a separated shoulder again? He's sailing his throws like he was when the AC joint was injured

wouldnt be the first time the team covered up an injury to Josh.  ive been thinking about something like this.  he looks super uncomfortable on all passes.

I've been an Allen supporter since day 1, but let's not make excuses for him.

He just sucks right now

Im not blaming the QB when he throws a perfect sideline pass that a ton of NFL WR’s catch.

The throw before that - to Moore - was on Allen.

But he didn't need to roll out of the pocket.

But when I'm honest and say Allen's a little bit off I get flamed

That’s NOT what you said.

Dont play the victim card.

You said Allen should be tearing it up with the garbage he has at WR because Tom Brady had jags, completely disregarding that Brady’s “jags” were excellent route runners who could get open.

Its like fans just can't admit that.

Been telling folks Josh deserves much more of the blame for the passing game struggles. Many here don’t want to admit that.

I can’t tell from the broadcast but the fact that Allen is back there for 5-6 seconds and nobody is open is so alarming. It’s either that or Brady’s scheme is so bad that it’s impossible to be open.

This might be the worst WR core in the league by a huge margin. I don’t say that lightly.

I think McD is doing Josh a disservice by asking him to be just a game manager. When you dont do something consistently, like throw the ball all over the field, then when asked to do it may become difficult because you aren't asked to do it alot. Gotta let Josh loose

Is Coleman already a bust? I feel like he might be serviceable in the pass game if we had a legit #1, but idk.  He really can’t beat his man. Maybe with a more creative mind designing the pass game?

He didn’t need to, but it worked.

So to blame him for that is just ridiculous.

Especially when the WR just simply didn’t catch the ball.

That is on Allen. He bailed a perfect pocket.

You cannot play Quarterback this way.

Watching that replay breakdown. I dont think Josh trusted the blitz being picked up there. Not making excuses. Just saying thats what it looked like to me.
