edit: just saw the news, wow. i guess its good to see some urgency from the staff

Yeah Hairston being activated and expected to play this early is the first sign I've seen in a while that McDermott is feeling some heat. The way he's talked about his "mental reps" made me think we were several weeks away. I wonder if Beane put some pressure on the situation too... His recent draft record has major question marks and he needs a win. They can't afford to be patient and this has forced McDermott to step outside his comfort zone.

Going to be interesting to see who gets the majority of reps at safety. Would love for it to be Hancock, but it’s likely Poyer.

Poyer taking pregame warmup right next to Bishop if that means anything

Be interesting to see who the starting safeties are, which combo.   Does Cole move to free and Poyer at strong, or will Hancock be in there.

When it's over later, I think we will realize what a break we got facing Dalton.  He's got experience, but not special in any way or a threat to do anything in a dynamic fashion.

I'd guess Poyer/Bishop

Solomon and Epenesa over Jackson.

Really would like to see Jackson get more playing time. Solomon has done nothing.

I know I know special teams....

0-2 with Jackson. Not that it means anything.

Jackson needs a lot more development, he's a big liability on the field right now. He's a classic Beane 3rd round developmental gamble, just like Brown, Bernard, and Williams. They usually need at least a year until they are really ready to see the field.

I just hope if he looks lost out there or gets burned, people don't start calling him a bust

I feel strangely really good about Poyer being back. I know he’s probably at jest 70% of what he was but that guy was a difference maker. It’s probably mostly nostalgia but I love seeing him here. I never felt right about how he left. Let’s do it right

Off to my Bills bar.

Enough is enough! We've had our losing streak and our bye week. Let's get back to business!

Our defense sucks! Now let's start changing that!

On offense, let's have some consistent and good sense playcalling. Play to Josh Allen's strengths and be consistent with James Cook!

You can't just coast to victory you have to fight and earn it! Now do it!

GO BILLS!!!
