I think he has less yards the last three weeks combined, than the bills in week one. Week 1 is the weirdest week in sports. I never try to read into it. 1 Quote

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted Sunday at 11:20 PM Posted Sunday at 11:20 PM This ravens team is mentally weak. Harbaugh wonders why his team blows leads and chokes in the playoffs? It’s the same reason Lamar came out in the 3rd quarter. 2 Quote

They’ve played 3 of the top teams in the NFL and are 0-3……pack that overrated team up! It's still way too early. A lot of people last week also said the chiefs were done. Baltimore started the season slow last year also. I still can't see how Pittsburgh or Cinci wins the division over them Quote

Also Derrick Henry is running like a madman the first game because he's fresh And nobody wants to break their collarbone on a 250 lb beast week 1 so I think our defense is also tackling him conservatively Quote

I like our guy better, but it's really a bad look to put down another team's player like this. "he doesn't look all that hurt to me" LOL short of blood running down his face or a bone sticking out of his leg how can you possibly tell? https://www.nfl.com/news/ravens-qb-lamar-jackson-suffers-hamstring-injury-in-game-vs-chiefs This is a regular season game, and it's a long season. sure he "can be hurt" and yes it is a long season. This was a huge game for both teams. Imo he should not get a single mvp vote this season. To be clear I would say that even if allen did it. Quote

If I was a Ravens fan, my ire with Harbaugh would be at an all time high level It's not who you play but when you play them. Chiefs are basically playing the Ravens second team defense. In their building. Yea, KC executed well but this big win really doesn't show me that KC is back. Quote

Featuring Lamar is a mistake. Teams know they don't have to worry about the run. 1 Quote
sven233 Posted Sunday at 11:21 PM Posted Sunday at 11:21 PM (edited) Just a few thoughts on this game. 1. You want to beat the Ravens? Score a couple of TDs on them early while getting 2 or 3 stops on defense. This gets Henry off the field and all of a sudden the 2x MVP has to do it by himself and he just can't. Their offense literally runs through Henry and he is the key to their success on offense. If they are one dimensional and you have no fear of a freight train running over you on every play, they are much easier to defend. And, while they have a ton of talent on defense, for whatever reason, it is not coming together for them yet. 2. The Chiefs are far from dead. In fact, when Rice comes back and they can put him out there with Worthy, Brown, and Thorton, I am not sure there will be a better overall WR corps in the league. 3. Mahomes is good. Really good. Not sure he is as good as the glazing he gets week in and week out, but he's good, especially when he has a full compliment of weapons. He may not be Allen that can make it work with a bunch of nobodies, but with the talent and speed they will be able to put out there when Rice comes back is going to be tough to handle. 4. Probably the most frustrating part of all of this is that they have Spags calling that defense. And with Jones in the middle of it, their defense is the reason that team has been as successful as they have. It doesn't matter how good their offense is a lot of the time because their defense is always dominant when they need it the most. Can we offer him like $20 mill this week to come run our defense? Anyway, it is what it is. It's a long season and so much can happen injury-wise to change things drastically. But I would suspect these are still the 2 teams we will have to get through to have a chance to win a Super Bowl. Edited Sunday at 11:24 PM by sven233 2 Quote
BRH Posted Sunday at 11:22 PM Posted Sunday at 11:22 PM Will Lamar need help walking to midfield? Quote
T.E. Posted Sunday at 11:22 PM Posted Sunday at 11:22 PM Baltimore's schedule gets a lot easier. They'll unfortunately probably go on a run. Quote

boyst Posted Sunday at 11:22 PM Posted Sunday at 11:22 PM Of course Jackson defenders will point out that he was limited in practice all week and missed time also listed for the game Sunday with a hamstring to validate his "injury" Quote

DrDawkinstein Posted Sunday at 11:23 PM Posted Sunday at 11:23 PM Lamar is so soft. Quit on his team once they got down 17. Just like he quit on his team in Buffalo and came out on 4th down. Quote
