eball Posted September 20 Posted September 20 I’m glad everyone is worried about Josh and an offense putting up 30+ every game and 450 yards of offense. 1 1 1 Quote

Kinda crazy how we played such a conservative offense yet we scored 31 and left probably at least 7 more on the field. They were a couple bad play calls from busting that game wide open in the first half. They'll open things up when it’s time. 1 2 Quote

What happens when defenses take away the short game? Because by the time playoffs come around that's what the top elite teams will try and do. It has to be incorporated even a little bit and I think Moore would be the perfect guy for it running a 4.35 at his pro day. Hope that was said tongue-in-cheek. Given a choice between a reckless gunslinger who’s exciting to watch but loses winnable games, or a conservative approach QB that gets the job done consistently, which one do you choose? For me it’s a no-brainer. Big dub all day long. Sugar-high Josh who thought he could do it all and made questionable decisions that occasionally led to turnovers has matured into a refined field general. He now protects the ball and methodically matriculates the team towards the endzone while still putting on the cape with splash plays just enough to still be exciting to watch. 1 1 Quote

RobbRiddick Posted September 21 Posted September 21 I love Josh not throwing Ints much anymore, and I enjoy his death by a 1000 paper cuts approach. His evolution has been staggering to see. Earlier today I watched these highlights from his rookie season. Look at the way his slings the ball back then. His throwing motion is so different to how he plays now. Its like listening to one of the Beatles early singles after playing Revolver and Sgt Pepper 1 Quote

BigAl2526 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 (edited) I understand the reasoning the more controlled offense Buffalo has been running, but there is also a risk in letting a weaker team like Miami hang around in a close game, especially when that team has a potentially explosive offense. If Bernard didn't make that interception on Thursday night, the game could have had a very different outcome. Edited September 22 by BigAl2526 Quote
