I can’t think of a better musical guest for that sendoff then to have the Killers for Mr. Brightside live right before the national anthem. Come on Pegula make it happen. I'd ask what you're drinking, but this goes WAY beyond alcohol. I'm think an acid and mushroom combo. Quote
JerseyBills Posted September 17 Posted September 17 That song is like 2 3 years old with the Bills , it's cool but has no significance 1 Quote

Thrivefourfive Posted September 17 Posted September 17 It could look like we’re going to host the afc championship game a week before it’s scheduled, and all the sudden we’re not hosting the afc championship game…. because the football is a funny shape. But what’s four months when you really think about it Quote
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted September 17 Posted September 17 We may as well start asking the obligatory what’s on the tailgating menu for the AFCCG?! 😰🤷 1 Quote

NI Bills Fan Posted September 17 Posted September 17 So you're telling me I no longer have to turn the TV off and on 17 times before kick off and watch the game standing on one leg to make sure we have a chance? This is great news! 2 Quote
Gregg Posted September 17 Posted September 17 I am not looking at the playoffs but with the Bills about to start a 3-game home stand I think 5-0 is very realistic. The Bills are better than the three teams coming to OP even though two of them are against divisional rivals. They have also been a monster at home during the Allen era. The Bills will eventually lose at home but to lose to one of these 3 teams coming up would be a major upset. Quote
ryguy101 Posted September 17 Posted September 17 I did read that on the 2025-2026 NFL Script. It has us going to the AFC championship and hosting the Ravens where we beat them 30-20 and advancing to the Super Bowl where we will decimate the Eagles 47-0 and give Ralph Wilson something to finally smile about Quote

There's 2-3 threads like this a week. Luckily there is no such thing as a jinx and nothing we say on this board makes the blindest bit of difference. I still think it's early to be thinking about which musical act would play before an AFCCG but the universe is not going to punish us if we do. 1 1 Quote

Very shrewd counter measure. 2 Quote

This trend is the NFLs gig to make these events - worked well with the Superbowl. The NFL would love to extend that to the next lower level and make parties out of the CGs. Remember when they almost had the big party in ATL for Bills v KC? But if the Bills did win the Championship, it is event worthy. It would be something that the powers in Buffalo should not be scrambling to put together in a week. It should have months of planning and the OPs band should certainly be in the mix. For many a Superbowl can cost too much, whereas a trip to Buffalo would be much cheaper. It would be nice for out of towners to know the dates and possible events. Last year the jinxer crowd wouldn't let it be discussed. Quote

Anything beyond beating the Dolphins on Thursday night in Week 3 is jumping the gun. If it’s music related, my wife seems to care about the SB halftime shows, but she also likes the commercials while I’m more concerned about the football. Just the football. .
