Yep defender was there early and already hanging on his back before the ball arrived, but agree still catchable. I said that in the GDT. Quote

I don't think it's going to be interesting at all. The Bills have drafted two TEs since they signed Knox to his big deal and have brought in other FA competition. It's pretty clear they're excited to be rid of that contract. There are worse #2 TEs in the league, but Knox's big time drops are absolutely brutal and he's nowhere near worth his contract. 1 Quote

The guy LOVES contact. I genuinely think he craves it. He engages the block, drives his defender backward and does not stop until after the whistle. I can’t remember the last time i’ve seen a Bills TE who can block this well. Maybe ever? He may make Knox disposable. Especially with his constant propensity to drop balls. if he can improve a little bit as a pass catcher then I think there’s a chance he could replace Knox who is useful but highly paid. The big question make in Kincaid who has an option coming up after this season. If they pick up his option, I can see them moving on from Knox. But that’s a big “if” now 1 Quote

Reminds me of the one he threw a few years ago to Jake Kumerow. Probably takes awhile to get you used to that velocity. Kudos to him for handling it, even with the bobble. 1 Quote

The game was an utter blowout (the Bills could have scored over 40 points easily if they hadn't called off the dogs), and Knox had what appears to be his highest-rated blocking game ever in a contest where the Bills ran it down the Jets' throats all game. 1 2 Quote

TheFunPolice Posted September 16 Posted September 16 home run of a pick it looks like! Beane should just trade 1st round picks for good players and then hit the draft. Quote

Not sure if you're kidding but maybe you're not and if those trades included reasonable contracts I wouldn't balk at it. The problem with trading for marquee players is sometimes more the money than the draft capital (e.g. Parsons). Quote

quincy Posted September 16 Posted September 16 The Full House or Power T formation! Kincaid and Knox on the line of scrimmage and Gilliam, Hawes and Cook in the backfield, can run or pass. Used to be my most liked formation when I used to play Madden all the time. Quote

JakeFrommStateFarm Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Brady believes Hawes can catch is why hes running routes. He caught passes at Ga Tech too. The catch at the endzone in Ravens game was incredibly clutch. Hawes has "IT" 1 Quote

Only way knox sticks is a pretty substantial paycut - which he will be getting on the open market anyway. His cap hit for money already paid out is 7.5, and he has a 1.5M roster bonus due early on, so i'd expect it to be a pre-FA cut. Adding another year can allow you to spread bonus money further to lower his hit in 2026, but you only do that if he's lessening the cap hit in 2026 with a void year in 2027. 1 hour ago, boater said: Yeah, Knox is one overpaid Josh-buddy. But in 2021, 2022, and 2024 he was pretty sure handed. If you look at Kelce's advanced stats right now, he has a 20% drop rate. It's early. Knox has 15 more games to right the ship, and I expect he will. 2023 he had that wrist injury. 2 1 Quote

Granted it's early, but Knox leads the snap count for the TE's so don't think it's as straight forward as you make it out to be as could argue he's the #1 TE. Kincaid has improved in blocking, but still need to get better there too. My guess is they ask Knox to take a fairly sizable paycut. If he accepts he stays, if not then he could be gone. 1 Quote
