9/14/25 Week 2 GAMEDAY Bills @Jets post game Thread

I said earlier in the week I could see it being a workman like performance and it was. Nothing flashy other than Cook's run, just wore them down and did what they needed to do. In years past this sort of game might have been a nail biter into the 4th quarter but even I felt relaxed from early in the game

Right on. Division games on the road aren't often easy. With all the injuries, this game went as well as I could hope for.

And that's why you pay James Cook.

 

I know everyone loves Groot, but he was making more money last year (pre-extension) than Cook is making now (post-extension). Does anyone think he contributes more to our success than Cook?

 

They shouldn't. And just because Cook plays a "devalued" position, doesn't mean he's actually less valuable.
