Ethan in Cleveland Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I saw it in real time and then again last night. Bills got so many breaks with teh tip ball TD, the missed XP, and that FG not getting blocked. Feels like it was our turn to get a few breaks. All the emphasis on special teams. Need to clean that up! 1 Quote

When I watched the replay, I saw Hamilton immediately cover his face in his hands like he just missed it, and sure enough, when I watched it again, I was like 'how did he miss blocking that?' We had some good luck last night. Yep, we loose that game 9 times out of 10. Thank goodness for the 1 out of 10! 1 Quote

I agree... Just be thankful the drill went off seamlessly! They were pretty calm. Something was bound to get missed. Actually, I was shocked how calm the kicking crew was! Quote

Put yourself in the linemen’s shoes. If you jump Offside or hold, the game is over on ten second runoff. So you’re way more passive. 1 1 Quote

This is the 4th time in 2,316 games a team has done this since 2000. The record is 4-2,312 when losing by 15+ w/4 minutes left. ESPN had Ravens winning 99.1% with 4 minutes left. Quote
MPL Posted September 8 Posted September 8 We lived in one dimension until February 6th, 2025. In that universe, Kyle Hamilton blocks that kick and the Bills lose. It happens that way in 100% of simulations. But when Josh Allen won the MVP award, we unknowingly entered some new dimension. Buckle up — it's going to be a weird year. 1 1 Quote

Insane tipped pass touchdown, dropped interceptions, Henry fumble, missed extra point, barely missed block of the winning FG. I just hope we didn't burn through a season's luck in one game! 1 Quote

I think he was almost stunned that he went completely unblocked and unaccounted for. Haha I saw it last night too but didn't want to harp on a negative when it was such an amazing win. But yikes how brutal would it have been to lose on a block where he was allowed to rush in totally free? Quote
davefan66 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 It changes direction slightly. But it went through and that’s all that matters. This is one game that all the little things went our way when it was needed - starting with the 1 second left before halftime. Was our game. Quote
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Man, we could use a Kyle Hamilton on our side. Quote

More like 99 of 100. Maybe 999 of 1000. It's so nice to come out on top of one of these instant classic games that NFL Network will replay forever. We are on the poop end of so many recently. zow2 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I saw it too. Another thing of destiny because it should've been blocked. Someone failed their blocking assignment. Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Anyone remember that SNL Tebow/Broncos skit? "Matt Prater, I pray to you brother" Quote
SF Bills Fan Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I watched the kick several times after and I noticed that. It was really close. That guy was right there. Almost spoiled the party. Quote

Virgil Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Anyone else see how close that was to being blocked, and it was actually ripped by Hamilton? The Ravens blew through the right side of the line and Hamilton got the tips of his fingers on the ball. I know it went through, but I got sick to my stomach looking at the replay and imagining how that could have gone. Granted, the Ravens were able to jump the snap due to the clock situation, but still. That was wild. 2 1 1 Quote
