They should put the Gold patch on Josh Allen jerseys that are purchased this season.

That's a different logo

 

This is the NFL logo at the crest of the top of the Jersey 

 

The captain's patch turns Gold I think after your 5th year.. u get a gold star every year and then the gold Captain's patch

Funny nexr year topps take over the sports cards licsenses and game used logo cards are comong back panini couldnt use game used the last few years. I bet these start showing up in high end topps products starting next year.

A new rule should be that any offensive player  who has a gold shield on their jersey is not allowed to be hit hard 😝

Yep. But how many people are going to buy another jersey and pay more for it - because having that gold shield on it is cool? NFL finds another way to print more money.
