GASabresIUFan Posted August 26 Posted August 26 (edited) The only semi surprise was Ingram making the roster, but even that isn’t much of a surprise. I’d say Ingram, Van Denmark, Solomon and Carter are the first players gone when the IR and suspended players return (depending on position). Edited August 26 by GASabresIUFan 3 1 2 5 Quote

We've got 1 CB near the top of the Depth Chart on IR (to return) and another that is no guarantee to start Week 1. If anything, it was a little bit of a (pleasant) surprise that we didn't keep Ingram and Jackson. Says to me they don't expect White to miss much time, if at all. Quote

I'm surprised Beane didn't pull off a trade moving some of our OL depth. 1 2 Quote
Kaenon Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Codrington as dedicated returner is interesting at least, but based on preseason reps was fairly clear. Quote

I think a general rule of thumb is you do not trade line depth unless you’re going to cut them. Generally not a position you can fix in-season at the trade deadline. 1 1 Quote

Wait for a couple injuries league wide. Hes on the clock though. Barring injury, he’s gonna need 2 spots in 4 weeks and another 2 in 6 weeks . 2 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted August 26 Posted August 26 So just like I say every year….the entire process is whole lot of energy and time expended over next to nothing. I really have to wonder when the NFL will do away with the entire farce that the preseason has become. 2 2 Quote

I think Gable not being ready stops that from happening. No reason to trade a guy who makes the team for late day 3 picks when trying to win a chip. This goes for the Wrs too. Why trade Samuel. Keep all 3. Week 4-6 the Bills at some depth. I like it. Couple preseason heros still in the cards for PS 1 Quote

Simon Posted August 26 Posted August 26 I love that Jackson Hawes made the 53. It feels like that's a really good sign for him going forward. Just now, Clyde Smith said: Where is Philips in the lineup? He's going ot be on the practice squad 8 Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Honestly my biggest surprise is both Shavers and Moore. I know they have very different skill set but I thought it would be one or the other 2 Quote

oldmanfan Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Really surprised by Coddrington. Figured Davis would return. And I think my man Ingram is going to surprise folks. 2 1 Quote

When he came out of college, one of the draft experts (can't recall which one) described him as the best ST gunner he had ever seen at the collegiate level. 2 Quote
