Just took a 1yr/$16M to 1yr/$30M and gets to be a FA next year. He wasnt going to get a multi-year deal done with further guarantees from Mike Brown so this is the best option for him. 1 1 Quote

MikePJ76 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago lol. Basically the coaches around the league are looking at a game in two weeks and are switching to game prep mode instead of evaluations and the ones with players holding out are probably freaking out that these great players were not going to be signed and ready to go. BlueRed Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hopefully the terms of his new deal don’t allow the bengals to franchise tag him. Watch him have another big year and have to stay under Bengals control … Quote

Obviously he’d like a huge contract but not bad options to have Quote

He’ll never be broke, unless he’s an idiot…. in which case he’d never be safe anyway. He’s sitting pretty and he gets to earn his freedom from Mike Brown. His ceiling is doing it this way. His floor is already achieved, and it ain’t too shabby. I don’t like to use the word hate, but if I had to list owners who came to mind when the word was mentioned, the state of Ohio probably has the first two on the list. My best friend from college is a fan of the Browns, and a season ticket holder for the Bengals. You think we got it rough? 🤣 1 1 Quote
