T master Posted August 25 Posted August 25 (edited) Just had a thought . Bills Mafia has proven to the entire NFL that it is one of if not the best group of fans in the entire NFL fan base, people every where look to the Mafia to every thing from partying only the way that Bills fans can, to tail gating better than any other fan base, to stepping up to support different folks when it comes to donating to cause close to people out side of the immediate Mafia family . I was thinking that Bills Mafia should have a yearly award or maybe even 2 that would make a certain person officially a Bills Mafia family member ! We have had a few members as we know that will go down in the Bills Mafia HOF such as Poncho Billa, Pinto Ron, Bills Elvis and others . Just like Kyle Brandt gives out the scepter for certain Angry runs of the week Bills Mafia should come up with some kind of thing to give a person to officially become a Bills Mafia family member . Who would you pick if you could give someone the honor of being inducted into the family . I have 2 right off the top of my head, 1) being Jim Nance & the other being the afore mentioned Kyle Brandt ! I believe both from their past have already been adopted as part of the Bills Mafia family are there others that have shown them selves to be worthy of being inducted ? Let us all know what you think . It could be past players, celebs, or just Bills fans in or out side the WNY area . Say like a Mac Hollins for instance . I also think it would be to cool to have a section in the new Highmark Stadium devoted to a Bills Mafia HOF, those members Like Poncho and others mentioned that will always be remembered as rabid Bills Mafia fans !! Gregg Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Chris Berman for sure. "Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills". Probably still picking the Bills and 49ers for the Super Bowl. 8 1 Quote
Bob in STL Posted August 25 Posted August 25 (edited) Chris Berman gave the Bills a lot of positive support for decades. He even knew their mid 60's AFL Championship stars and he gave the speech that inducted Ralph into the HoF. He lacks the modern social media "flair" but he is the original outsider Bill fan. Berman all the way. Edited August 25 by Bob in STL 5 Quote
boater Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Tim Russert. He brought "Go Bills" to Meet The Press. 4 2 2 2 Quote
thenorthremembers Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Del Reid should be first considering he coined the term. 1 2 Quote
Fleezoid Posted August 25 Posted August 25 I don't know who I'd pick, but I think every new Bills Mafia member should be given a Labatt Blue. 1 1 1 Quote
PonyBoy Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Vince Gallo. Buffalo 66 I memoriam, let's not for get Pancho Villa. Maybe the Pancho Villa honorary award for best mafia member each year? 1 Quote
