Only explanation I have for all the short stuff to him that look like Samuel plays designed for YAC.

I am interested if they put him in when they get in the red zone and go with the big guys outside along with both tight ends.  

 

he will probably have a hard time getting snaps if coleman and palmer are healthy and playing well.

Yes, he played, but only held. Davidson did actually punt.

He will see a lot on STs. Then probably another 10-15 on offense is my guess. Basically, the Jake Kumerow role. 

 

I think he could definitely earn more snaps throughout the year.
