Pretty solid by both Mitch and Mike White. Would think they go with continuity and keep Trubisky around though. 
 

Hopefully Mike White gets a full first half one of the next two games to showcase what he’s got as he played respectably well.

I like Mike White more than Trubisky, but I think the organization (and Josh) like Mitch more.

I admire Mike White's toughness. That said, Trubisky brings more to the roster than white does IMO. He's got more experience, has been in the Bills QB room longer and looked competent today. 

 

I'd like to see both White and the other kid replaced at cutdown by a younger QB for the PS. Honestly, Id even be ok scooping up Tommy Cutlets for QB 3 when the Giants have to cut him before the season.

I hate watching them play. Every completion seems to be a struggle. Check downs 90% of the time. It reminds me too much of the drought.

The contracts really say it all to me.

 

If Trubisky is cut, there's a 1.75m Dead Cap hit and 1.5m savings.

 

If White is cut, there's no Dead Cap hit (as he has no guarantees in his contract) and 1.2m in savings.

 

So in my mind, White would have to so clearly beat Trubisky that they're willing to pay White and pay Trubisky what he's owed.

 

Also, and this may be a minor or major thing, Trubisky was one of the players that Josh invited to his wedding. So it's clear he and Josh are friends and he'd probably prefer his friend with him in the QB room.

I think they're both fine as #2 and #3 in NFL. Never want Josh out, but I think we could maybe play .500 for 2-4 weeks with them. All you can ask for in a backup IMO.

If Mike White wants the #2 slot, he has to take it from Mitch.  There are still two more shots, but he better bring it on every play.

White looked worse than terrible on his first couple of drives and throws. But it looked like he settled down and made some decent throws.

Mitch had a good enough game to keep the #2 role for week 2. That said let’s see the 1s with White, and Mitch take the 2nd half.

I want Mike White to win this job. But i thought Trubisky ran the offense significantly better than White today. And Tasker was a bit too lenient on White with regard to ball placement. We'll see what happens when the start goes to White.
