Lmao yeah I could care less about $500

The only thing I truly want is my mother and father who have been watching since inception... And truly love the bills

I just want them to see a championship before they go

I want it for my mom and dad more than myself and I do want it

My parents met at a random super bowl a long time ago and I think that's fate

Agreed. We can make 500, 5k and 10k relatively easy.  Experiencing the Bills winning the SB…. Priceless

100% agree it's not even a thought

Thats a tough answer.  Also the question is open to interpretation.

Should I be thinking about this in terms of:

$$$$ and never see a Super Bowl victory in my lifetime?

OR

$$$$ there will be no Super Bowl Victory this season?

1. Its in the millions.  Its gotta be life changing money for me to basically give up on football and betray my friends, family, and hometown.

2. I could live with trading one year of Allen's prime for money and no championship.  I've been doing it for free for years.  This year is one of our best chances to win it all in the Allen era.  I would take a $500k and convince myself it wasn't their year anyway.

Lifetime

You’re either guaranteed the Super Bowl this year or guaranteed the money and zero Super Bowls in your lifetime.

Essentially you are asking to buy me out of my Bills fandom. Not because I am only in it for the winning, no Bills fan could be accused of that. But because it is the hope that makes it worth it.

What do I value my Bills fandom at? Honestly? You'd have to be talking 7 figures. Needs to be never work again money.

The gaurentee that they would never win one in my lifetime if I take the money is the real sticking point. I'd do it for $100k, probably, but I wouldn't love it. Closer to $200k and I wouldn't feel bad at all. At that point it would just be irresponsible not to take it.

This post got me thinking, “what’s the right number that it would take in exchange for a Bills Super Bowl?” Obviously, $500 isn’t the answer. The champagne I’d pop after a Super Bowl would exceed that. What’s your number?

I’m thinking like $500K would be my number. That might be insane and it might not be high enough. That number is big enough to matter but not big enough to stop working or drastically change the day-to-day.

I figure that this is an interesting place for this discussion because the people spending time here, in June, REALLY care about the Bills.

EDIT: To be clear, you either get _____ dollars and the Bills do not win one in your lifetime OR they are guaranteed a championship this year.

I'd easily turn down 5k, much less 500

On its face….this is probably one of the most absurd questions I’ve ever heard. No true fan is taking $500 to forgo a Championship. A  million and above is a no brainer…that’s life changing.

if the asker really wanted to make it hard, offer $150,000-$300,000.  Not saying everyone would accept but it would sure force you to think about it.

This is hysterical to me, because my wife recently retired and just today we chose our financial advisors who will work with us and our son. Life is good, but that would be CRAZY!

For me of course. I’m enjoying retirement.

Exactly, with what I've been through, along with many others, as a Bills fan it would really take A LOT

What is the Jets Super Bowl worth now? Broadway Joe made a few bucks.

I’d rather spend my money on travel and tickets to enjoy the games.

This.

That would be very costly. We are talking many millions - not hundreds.
