"Their team has no respect for their coach; they play like that. Where's the physicality of this team? They're soft, every part of their football team." Or he needs to stop wearing capri pants and start wearing cargo shorts and talking about Jesus. I say this because Reid, Shannahan, McVey, and Zac Taylor are also offensive genius/play-design nerds, but they have affectations that hide that a bit. 1 1 Quote

Though what they have also done is win more often than not. All four of their teams have real hopes of making the post season. Ask any Dolphins fan and I don't think they'll be having the same thought process. Quote

GTHECKOH with that nonsense. He's been generating bad press on his own for quite some time now. In most instances it has been related to the same thing. Violence against women. Violence against kids. Violence against senior citizens. A wonderful guy that there Tyreek is. How is this guy still in the league and has he ever even been suspended? Seems like he’s constantly accused of some type of abuse and it’s not like he’s never been convicted (college) 1 Quote

I get the point but what he really needs to do is practice good leadership. I knew army leaders who were skinny and somewhat nerdy who nonetheless successfully led guys into combat. Unlike McDaniel, they had a command presence, spoke with confidence, acted decisively, and led by example. I do appreciate that Tua said something to the effect that McDaniel was the first coach to believe in him. Good stuff. But I remember seeing McDaniel on Hard Knocks or whatever and thinking: "That guy is not a leader of men." 1 Quote

He will make a great OC somewhere, where he can focus on play design and let others lead. 3 Quote

But now, with the way the team played Sunday, and how odd and somewhat dysfunctional the offseason was, things have gotten pretty sour with the fanbase. I checked in on their message board today, and the glaring sentiment is basically what they have now is s train wreck. From the owner, GM and now McDaniel, frustration is boiling over. Quote
Low Positive Posted September 9 Posted September 9 42 minutes ago, jcamm1966 said: Hill will be in KC by end of October That won't happen. He torched that bridge. I wish I could find video of it, but when Mahomes mismanaged the clock at the end of the first half in the AFC CG in 2021, Tyreek was screaming at him all the way into the locker room. Then Mahomes only targeted him twice for no catches in a second half when the Chiefs only scored 3. Everyone credits a huge defensive adjustment by Cincinnati for the Chiefs second-half struggles in that game, but I argue that things were said in that locker room that broke that team. Tyreek had to go, and a few months later the Chiefs traded him in what was a huge surprise move at the time. 1 Quote
