He always finds a way to overpay former Bills. He was in town to see Shane Gillis' show. It was unrelated to his release. I was told he was shocked to get this news today, didn't see it coming. 5 Quote

He was really bad last year for Jacksonville..........but for a team to eat $20M on a mid-level contract like that is a drastic maneuver. I figured they'd give it one more try and hope that the trash he put on tape was just a fluke. Apparently didn't take them as long as it did for Beane to realize he was a disaster as a WR2. Quote
Gilberto Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago My opinion is that we should not go back. The good old days of Diggs, and Davis are long gone. We've evolved and I think there is no reason to bring back Davis. I remember too much inconsistency from him. Yeah he had some absolutely incredible games, but also too many games where he was invisible. Let's just move on and give some of the newer guys a shot. Quote
wppete Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Josh make WR Millionaires! I bet Gabe love Josh. Quote

Hollins caught 31 balls for 378 yards what are we talking about? Davis is as good a blocker and healthy a by far better wr. If healthy is the question. With offset language he will sign a 1 year minimum deal and Jacksonville picks up the tab. Its a no lose situation with a player that Allen knows and likes. Recount 1 time last season where you felt like throwing something at the TV because Hollins dropped a crucial ball at the worst possible time or ran the wrong route... now think back on how many times you had to restrain yourself from breaking #### when Davis did that (or maybe it was just me). 1 3 1 Quote

New regime coming in wants to clean out the stink from the last regime... I didn't expect it either but I get it. They have BTJ and Hunter to play outside so Gabe and his rehabbing knee are a redundancy on the roster. 1 Quote
DCOrange Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago If he's willing to come back in a depth role, this is such an easy yes. He's a capable starter that will likely sign for the league minimum. 1 Quote

The Jags paid/are paying $24M for 11 weeks of Gabe Davis. Wow. Wonder if the Jags insured him. Nice work if you can get it 🤣 Quote
H2o Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Yes!!! We need more of Gabe Davis' mom's thoughts on things. 1 Quote

Hollins was not a feature of the passing game. Under Brady Davis would not either. Though depending on matchup Davis offers more than Hollins to exploit coverage. To me Davis has had more big plays in big spots than big blunders. He has some of the biggest plays a player has had for the Bills in the past 15-20 years. 1 Quote
boater Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Sign him....? Every time you sign some marginal old goat player veteran you are taking away a roster spot from a developing player. The Bills have some nice new young blood I want to see on the roster before Davis. 1 Quote
appoo Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Prather isn't going to be on the 54 so he wouldn't be competing Davis anyways Quote

Would have to set the clear expectation that it's not gonna be a starter/captain situation like last time, but he's certainly worthy of being on a roster. Still don't love not having a single plus starter, but our room would be deep: 1. Shakir 2. Coleman 3. Palmer 4. Moore 5. Samuel 6. Davis Nope look at Allen’s interception percentage vs with and without. It’s a big no for me. 1 Quote

Why would Davis impact that? For a minimum vet free agent signed in May Davis would offer the most upside and odds of succeeding. All it took was for the Jaguars to cut Davis and suddenly Buffalo has the best wr room in the NFL 😂😂😂 Allen stats once Gabe became the WR2 in 2022 and 2023. -15% of Allen's targets -38% of Allen's INT's 1 1 1 Quote
Sestak4ever Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago He made his money, so good for him. He dropped quite a few catchable balls here but he also made some outstanding sideline catches early in his career. I would not re-sign him but he will latch on somewhere. Quote

Keon was the leading Bills in ADOT last year and low and behold, 2 INTs (leading the team) when he was 7 targets higher than 4th on the roster. 1 1 Quote
