There are also Jets fans online sharing clips of Justin Fields in shorts, getting excited how he's going to turn it all around. None of it means anything. The Buffalo Bills are one of the Top 5 most talented team in the NFL (as they have been for the past 4-5 years), so there is plenty of reason to be optimistic. But it's not going to be some magical sense of destiny. It's going to be when these players and this coaching staff can finally execute in the biggest moments. I doubt we can call ourselves as one of the Top 5 MOST TALENTED team in the NFL in the last 4-5 years. We have JA17 at the helm and that carries us deep into the playoffs every year. If the Defense can be a top-5 defense this year, then we have a good shot at winning the SB. Quote
DeepPass Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago This season we have the best offensive talent since 1988 . If the defense improves 10% we are a given for the Super Bowl. Quote

Well I'm definitely high My father just came back from Colorado and brought some sticky icky It really is crazy when your father's a 70-year-old hippie and smokes like a chimney lol But yeah I definitely have the same feeling though it might be the ganja 1 1 Quote

We have absolutely been a top five team roster wise the last four seasons Only one team can win it all Our balance between quarterback running back offensive line wide receiver... Defensive line linebacker and defensive back , there's not been five teams with a better balance We now have a legitimate top five offensive line... A top five running committee.. a Hall of Fame QB With a deep defensive line, line backer group and now a core secondary with Benford , Johnson , hairston and rapp ... TailgateChef Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago So much depends on luck. How many of the previous years can you point to injuries as a key reason we couldn't get there. Tre in 2021. Von in 2022. Milano and DaQuan in 2023. Benford in 2024. I know one or two players don't make a team, but these were among our best defensive players in their respective years. All that being said.... we have some impressive depth. Quote

I like just about every change we've made, but we still don't have enough talent to overcome the teams above us, and some of those behind may catch up. I'll be on board in 2026 if we have another draft like this and we bring in key FAs to elevate the team. Who knows, but maybe Sanders has a HOF career like Buchanan Quote
Herc11 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago FWIW my betting website has the Bills @ +550 to win the SB. Philly is at +625 and KC +685 Quote

fergie's ire Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 14 hours ago, HappyDays said: I like on paper the changes they've made. They've added coaches that bring new schematic wrinkles to the table. They've added a legit CB to cover twitchy/speedy WRs. They've attempted to make the DL 10 players deep which has proven to be a successful strategy for overcoming the Chiefs. So I like the overall direction of the offseason. We just have to see if on paper translates to on the field. And nothing we do in the regular season will make me confident we can beat KC when it counts until I actually see it happen. What I find interesting is that they have really found a way to make the DL 12 players deep, particularly if these rookies are good. I think the suspensions really help them because they have so many good, or at least potentially good, DL. As I understand it, the two suspended DLs won't count against the final 53 to start the season. So, if they can get 10 good DL out of the group they have, they will all make the roster. After 6 weeks, there's a good chance a DL or two will be hurt. They can move two to IR for return and activate the suspended. Keep the two injured on IR for 5 or 6 weeks and then find two more who need a break. Even if they aren't legitimately injured, but just dinged up, some could use the rest to get back to 100%. If Daquan, for example, shows improvement and makes the team, he is still older, so it might be good to give him a long rest in the middle of the year. They can essentially have a roster rotation that will keep them fully stocked and healthy going into the playoffs. Quote
