MJS Posted Tuesday at 02:46 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:46 PM He's a great player, but already 31. We'll see if he can keep it up into his 30's. I sure hope Kincaid can turn into one of those elite TE's. 2 1 Quote

Shaw66 Posted Tuesday at 02:52 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:52 PM Good deal for Kittle. If I were the niners, I wouldn't be chasing after him. Quote

Two straight 1,000 yard seasons for him. He is clearly elite, plus a fan favorite. I think he is pretty solidified there. But yeah, I would have done a 2 year deal instead of 4 years. That's a little risky. 3 Quote

My hunch is when the details are released it will be a "2 year deal". 5 2 Quote

When you're in "decent but sorta meh QB" purgatory and have to pay the guy it sucks. 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted Tuesday at 04:11 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:11 PM If it's an extension I only see him getting maybe two years with $50m guaranteed and the 49ers can get out of the contract pretty easily after 2027. Probably. Quote

For whatever reason I thought he was still sort of mired in that cycle of injuries. Seems like a reasonable deal given his production and talent. Quote

I think he could be good (certainly better than he's shown so far), but not anything on the level of a Kittle or Kelce. Even if it were just flashes of greatness here & there, I'd be more optimistic, but he's shown flashes of "good" more than anything. Quote

He has the ability to bump the total guarantee to $40 million. The 49ers are committed as a practical matter to two years. It becomes a year-to-year arrangement after that. 17 hours ago, Malazan said: My hunch is when the details are released it will be a "2 year deal". correct 1 Quote
