BuffaloBillies Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Love the depth - have to disaster check - what if someone blows out knee in camp. Sh*t happens 1 Quote
Bag of Milk Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Not going to question it when the Bills take a CB in the 6th round. See Christian Benford. Have to admit that this is very good value 6 1 1 Quote

blacklabel Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I don't mind them going with three corners if that's what they think they needed. It does make me wonder if they have some concerns about Benford's health long term. I know they gave him the extension so I would assume all the medicals checked out well. But getting two concussions back to back like he did is no bueno. 4 Quote

BillsFanForever19 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Wow. So we lost Douglas and Elam. We signed White and Jackson. Now we've Drafted Hairston, Hancock, and Strong. There's going to be a lot of cuts at CB. Quote
Brandon Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I like it. The value at CB going into those three picks was just too high to ignore and I don't blame them at all for taking advantage of it. 2 Quote
JoeF Posted April 26 Posted April 26 From Dane Brugler - the Athletic (properly footnoted) A five-year starter at Virginia Tech, Strong was the field cornerback in head coach Brent Pry’s coverage scheme. After suffering a season-ending injury in 2022, he started 25 consecutive games the past two seasons. He combined for 19 passes defended and five interceptions while allowing just 39.6 percent completions when targeted (36-for-91). Despite having average length, Strong gets physical early and maintains positioning to make quarterbacks second-guess targeting constricted windows. He can function well in zone because of his pattern recognition and effectiveness in run support. Overall, Strong doesn’t have ideal foot speed or twitch for what some NFL teams desire, but he is a quick, instinctive player with the competitive profile other teams will highly value. He projects as a rookie reserve. 1 Quote

nedboy7 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 If White gets cut how much does he make? I have no idea how salaries work. LOL Quote
MAJBobby Posted April 26 Posted April 26 The secondary was an issue last year. and Dane Jackson and Tre on the twilight tour wasn’t fixing that. this has been a good draft in addressing the problem areas of the Bills. now we see if the players pan out. 3 1 Quote

They have one of the better O-lines in football and addressed the defensive trenches earlier in the draft. They were horrendous against the pass last season. Doc Brown Posted April 26 Posted April 26 On 4/26/2025 at 7:51 PM, Steptide said: So uhhhh, Josh carrying the offense again this season Expand We got our TE3. LOL. My expectations coming into this draft on offense was a TE3 and maybe an interior OL. Our defense is what cost us a Super Bowl trip last year and we didn't lose any of our offensive starters from last year. Maybe swap Palmer for Cooper. No problem whatsoever with this draft. 4 5 Quote
colin Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Benford and Bishop are the only two dbs that played last year who we can be certain will be on the roster next year. This is getting ready for a house cleaning 3 Quote
