Spencer Brown has been an iron man since his back issue.

I think maybe Walker should be given some credit for playing through his injury

Yea one of the Bills podcasters mentioned that a few days ago. Hopefully they can work the same magic with Walker.

Could do a lot worse in the 4th round

Prime Jordan Phillips had almost 10 sacks in a season, his skillset was maximized here in Buffalo. If Walker has a performance like that within the first 3 years of playing with the Bills it'll be a slam dunk pick.

Jerry O explaining the injury and how the NFL is more equipped to handle it than college was insightful.  Also, how Buffalo can help it.  Playing through it shows his grit.  If Buffalo is able to get him healthy he is a Jordan Davis level monster.  15-20 snaps a game being a destroyer enhances the entire front.

30 snaps a game should be the target

He will not approach 50% imo.  Sanders and Oliver will be well over 50.  Than Jones.  I expect he will be 4th in the room in snaps.  In the Super Bowl Jordan Davis played 15 snaps.

Interesting.  Jones could be cut this summer IMO.   Compromise.  22 snaps per game lol

ideally DaQuan is replaced by a larger veteran who is more true 1T

that would really complete a nice overhaul of the DT room

I can see that.  I personally would keep Jones.  As much a fan of Walker I am.  I would still want to see it on the field first.  With a back injury I would like to have a hedge on that bet.

And from day 1. We're gonna have to rely on these guys to come up big early, like week 1...and it's about time this team adapted to that.

Yea it was Jerry O, thanks. We will see, Davis is a physical freak, and Walker is not that. Walker does have a better feel for pass rush tho, so maybe he can make it up there. Getting his body right and losing some weight in his middle is probably the #1 goal this year.

I know he’s polarizing, but he’s a huge high ceiling guy and I love how absolutely juiced up this DL is now.

Have to hope the back injury is why his play dipped this past year.

Joe Marino podcast gonna be lit.

I heard Joe Marino  speak on him as well.

But it is interesting that Marino said this year that he has turned his attention almost exclusively to the pro game, the NFL, and so watched very little college football this year.

And so when he did his draft analysis shows he seemed to just be reading others' words about college players, one after another after...  Very boring, cliche stuff, repeatedly.

I just stopped listening, as I was doing that myself.

So don't take too much credence in what he says.  He is very definitive in his one man show, with no one there to push back at all on him.  And because it is every single day, I think, so much is just filler anyway.

I will say that the way DaQuan's contract is set up, if whoever they see at 1T is way ahead of him or he is just washed, he is one of the few players who a June 1st cut makes sense for

This is probably in the thread already but just in case it isn't, this is a nice breakdown of his senior bowl tape.

Bump and thank you. This was FAR more interesting than the highlight stuff.  I’m hoping and praying this is more that he was getting healthy and he’s playing like 2023 than he’s a contract year kinda guy. If he is healthy and motivated, he truly can be a monster. He seems like a great guy. We deserve some breaks!

Whilst it's true that Marino has less time to spend watching college tape now that he is focussed mainly on the Bills and the NFL, he does still do all his own work with regards watching the tape and evaluating college prospects   It's just that now he only has time to study a smaller number of prospects compared with previous years when he was almost fully focused on college football and  the draft.

He's still a good listen leading up to the draft imo.
