I think you’re hatred for Diggs maybe clouding your judgement. Not sure how this is relevant to the conversation. I don't "hate" sports figures--I don't know them. But I was skeptical when the trade was announced, based on the same behavior with the Vikings. A few years later and surprise surprise, he doesn't survive his last contract. This was all his doing, nothing to do with me. But some of us saw this as inevitable. The guy is outwardly immature--a cancer on any roster. He's about to be 0 for 3 on that note.... 9 hours ago, Sierra Foothills said: Again though, even had the Bills kept their pick and taken Higgins, that's a guarantee of nothing. Being a rookie and presumed number one receiver in Buffalo is quite different than being the number two behind Jamar Chase in Cinci. Higgins would have been a fantastic alternative to Diggs. 1 3 Quote

Doesn't mean they WOULD have picked him. They were still some weeks out from the draft but it tells you where their mind was at. I buy that for sure. Quote

He better find a way to convince people in NE he is worth keeping around and fast because there is no way at 31, coming off an ACL, and then being released (if he is) that he will get anything close to what NE gave him which honestly was already a legit shock. He gets released then he better be ready to play on a cheap 1 year deal because that’s all he will get, if even that. He got a $12M signing bonus. He'll be OK. 1 Quote

There is zero chance he gets released before he sees the field. 2 Quote

extrahammer Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago He hasn't stated anything and it's been a week. His first public comments since the boat episode is some drama at Cardi B's ex. I could easily see them cutting him and I hope they do. F the Pats. Quote

The Patriots will shut up about it in the meantime because Diggs will grieve the release and the team won’t want the failed physical to seem pretextual in advance of the release. 1 Quote

There is zero chance he gets released before he sees the field. Actually it’s not. No disrespect…but…You just stating your opinion doesn’t make it BS. I’m not claiming he is getting released…but I’ve also heard there is real substance to this from people I trust. Doesn’t mean it’s imminent, but the Pats are looking at how to get back some of the guaranteed money if they do. There are already things not meshing well with the coaching staff that go beyond the boat and Vrabel isn’t thrilled with the situation right now. And Vrabel wields a big stick there right now. Can it be salvaged still…sure…but to outright say it’s BS and has no chance of happening is not accurate. If I was forced to choose between whether he is on the team week 1 or not, I would lean towards he probably is. But I also wouldn’t be confident enough in that to place a wager on it either and just rule out a release. 1 1 Quote

Could be be the locker room cancer that takes down the Chiefs? To bookend the pic of him after the 13 seconds game, we need one where he's wearing a KC uni standing on the field after the Bills win the AFCC Quote

I don’t remember why. Maybe he didn’t have a good combine or something. I really thought he would be a good pick after watching him in college. If Diggs is cut, it's because he can't play and they will not cut him until they know that which won't be soon. As I said, it will not happen until he "sees the field" which is just as true now as it was prior to the video being released. Quote
RunTheBall Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago How is Diggs practicing without passing a physical from the Pats* medical staff? If he did pass a physical, NE is one the hook for all the guaranteed money 1 Quote
