Pong led to PAC Man led to Galaga, our favorite by far on date night.  I still want one in the basement, and then I remind myself of how rarely anyone goes in the basement.

I can only envision the tactics to get lured to your basement..........it puts the lotion in the basket, comes to mind.

I love all the old ones equally.

Your take and I respect it but for me there were a lot of duds out there that I played once and said never again.

Lots of good ones in here already.

The ones I always seemed to play each visit to the arcade:

Paperboy

Spy Hunter

Star Wars (sit down)

Gauntlet

I forgot about Paper Boy, also reminds me that I liked Marble Madness.

No pinball players here?

A few of us took the ladies to this place a couple weekends ago and had a ball.

400+ fully functional pinball machines and 200 or so cabinet arcade games.

$20 to walk in the door and then everything is Free so you can play anything you want as many times as you want.

If you can find a place like this near you, it's a great time.

Galaga, Defender, Stargate, Joust, Tron, Crazy Climber, Reactor, Tempest, Donkey Kong, Star Wars, Star Trek, Spyhunter, Space Invaders pinball & High Speed pinball. Oops, too many.

Yes, it is not easy to choose only 4.

Others that I love are: Galaxian, Gyruss, Zaxxon, Q*Bert, Rampage, Gauntlet, Gorf, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Star Wars, Star Trek, Phoenix, Joust, Defender, Dig-Dug.

this is the company i've posted earlier that makes the smaller, more affordable version of stand up arcade games.  i love this site.  so far i have star wars, the simpsons, big buck hunter, and rampage.  you should see the mini arcade set up people have put together with these things.
