He’s big and strong with soft hands" I've been complaining that our WR get shoved off their routes by physical coverage, that we seldom see the 'circus catch' from them, that our guys give us 'focus drops' at key situations. Sounds as though Beane set out to change that, and feels as though for a basketball player, the release moves can be coached up. McD likes WRs who block too. It is overlooked, but it matters. Bills Juggernaut Posted April 26 Share Posted April 26 Josh doesn't throw contested balls. He throws to open guys. He gets away with it because he can get the ball there so fast with his cannon arm. His long balls are not great as he tends to overthrows because he’s afraid of getting the pic or so he's so excited that he puts too much into it. Eastport bills Posted April 26 Share Posted April 26 All the draft specialists on this board should understand 73% of the receivers drafted in the 1st round since 2014 washed out and never got a 2nd contract. No one knows who translates into a productive player. Not sure what that skill set does int his offense though. Would have preferred the trade down here, but oh well. Hopefully he's decent for us.
