Week 9 thread - We’re on to Cincinnati

Huge game!

With the Chiefs losing today and them playing the Dolphins next week, with a win, the Bills are right back in the mix.

If the point spread holds and the Bills stay the underdog, it’s pretty incredible that we went 27 straight games favored especially with our first place schedule over the past couple years.

Let’s go Buffalo. Get the W and be right back towards the top where you belong.

Go Bills!

This game is not going to bode well for us.  They "Cinci" are back on track and they really dominated SF.  SF looked really bad against Cinci, and Purdy was a turnover machine.  This is going to be a really tough game Sunday night.  The Bills have to play error free and must force turnovers to win this game.

When we get embarrassed on the remainder of our nationally televised games, losing these Prime Time games we will get everyone talking and will start the end for McD and Dorsey.   I truly do not see us winning any of these games unless something major happens at the trade deadline.

Thursday Night Football: Week 8 vs. Buccaneers.

Sunday Night Football: Week 9 vs. Bengals.

Monday Night Football: Week 10 vs. Broncos.

Saturday Night Football: Week 16 vs. Chargers.

Not to mention Dallas and Philly & Miami.

If this game doesn’t bode well, I don’t know what will.  We’ve got a few extra days to prepare and no new injuries.  No excuses if we lose this one.

McDermott has played the team he lost to in the playoffs the following year 3 times, and played Houston 2 years after he lost to them. He hasn't lost any of those games yet. We really need you to keep that streak alive Sean.

If we win this one, and the Chiefs beat the Dolphins, and you assume we beat Jets/Broncos/Patriots (I know, I know) our 1 seed odds jump from 5% to almost 25% according to the NYT simulator. If we lose this one, our playoff chances as a whole drop to 57%, which is not ideal.

Last time we were the underdogs at Kansas City a couple

years ago?  Trying to remember when else that would have been.

SF is quickly sliding into “overrated” territory for me, especially after that Cleveland game

Biggest game of the next four and among the three biggest remaining games, @ KC and @ Miami being the other two.

We're already behind the other playoff contenders in Conference record at 2-3.  A loss here would make any tiebreakers on conference record a longshot.

Not to mention, besides KC, our biggest AFC nemesis.

We'll have had 10 full days to prepare.  Let's see if McD & Co. can cook something up that look a little different and fitted for Cincy.

We shouldn't be favored, and rightfully so.  Nothing in the last 4 weeks has me feeling good about this game, especially with Cincinnati starting to get hot..

Our Defense is not strength against Cincinnati.  The offense needs to step up.  This game will be a shoot out like Miami game.

This defense isn't the same one that played against Miami. I would feel better if it was.

I hope your right but I have zero faith in McD.  He is the worst at preparing for big games.
