It was my understanding the heavy snow was falling Thursday to Saturday. Has Erie County put on a travel ban? How much actual snow are you folks getting versus forecasts? Not sure why you replied to me about a dome? Have a great day I'm not sure either. 😕 wasn't quite through my first cup. "I thought the forecast is for no snow on Sunday.... none" led me to show that "none" on Sunday doesn't mean the area surrounding the stadium leading up to Sunday is safe. I'm relying on the weather link I posted giving details of the storm and it's impact. my guess is the snow accumulation leading up to Sunday is what is going to cause problems with travel and obviously why they made the decision to move to Detroit. snow accumulation will vary in certain areas. Heavy lake effect snow. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 feet in the most persistent lake snows. The greatest risk of the highest totals will be from South Buffalo to Lancaster. The heaviest snow is expected through Friday night when snowfall rates could exceed 3 inches per hour. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will produce patchy blowing snow. yes, there is a travel ban. ERIE COUNTY Travel bans and advisories issued for parts of WNY wasn't trying to pester you, just passing on information. you have a great day, as well. 5 hours ago, chongli said: More ignorance from the rest of the nation: to hell with all the twits on twitter and to hell with twitter altogether. seems ppl show not only their ignorance on that platform they some how seem to grow balls big enough to run their mouths and talk *****. some real stupid ppl crawl out of the woodwork on that garbage platform. 1

Fishbones is a great restaurant and there are plenty of other options in the area along with the casino. It is an easy walk to the stadium as well, only half a mile right down the road. Greektown/ Bricktown/ Waterfront all good options (all next to each other). You want to stay in the 75/ 375 loop. All those neighborhoods are in that loop, as if Ford Field. Safe (relatively), lots of good food options, lots of hotels, the casino etc. If you like deep dish pizza, Detroit does a good job of it IMO.

I can agree, like everywhere else, there are good folks on that platform but it has increasingly got worse in recent years and especially since that moron musk took it over. in my opinion, it will only get worse. 2

PizzaPapalis in Greektown was a post-game staple, but sadly they didn't survive the pandemic. So sad seeing great establishments just disappear. Wanted to take my kid for steak at Ditka's when we were in Chicago a few weeks ago and they shut their doors as well. If Ditka's can't make it in Chicago who the hell can?? https://www.freep.com/story/entertainment/dining/2022/02/20/pizzapapalis-greektown-restaurant-not-reopen/6864177001/

I rarely publish an original tweet, because (a) who the hell cares what I think; and (b) why would I want to invite the s-h-i-t-t-y responses that will flow from anyone who does respond? I’ll @ a reporter once in a while and have actually had some good exchanges, but even those get fouled up by morons.

Just Jack
I had a counter argument pop in my head if you want to debate the “it’s just snow” people. It’s like when they close schools because of storms. It’s not that they can’t teach because everything is indoors, it’s getting kids and staff there safely.

False - since our district put a roof on their school, there hasn't been a single snow day or delay. 8

SoCal Deek
How is this any different from moving a game due to a hurricane, flood or wildfire? The Bills would’ve moved the game back a day or two but they already play again on Thursday. Weather happens.

True, but you have to remember that the Sabres pretty much stop playing altogether somewhere around Week Two or Three every year….Long before snow starts to fall in WNY. 😉 (This season appears to be no different.)

Not so great for the 70,000 fans with tickets for the game in OP. Last time this happened for the Bills-Jets game played at Ford Field the tickets were free. Yep, I live in Metro Detroit as well and plan to attend with 3 other Bills fans...and then will be at the Thanksgiving game as well. I hope the tickets for the Browns game are not free...NFL stadium clientele can be suspect to begin with, no need to let people in for free or let scalpers take advantage of the situation.
